Not fixed yet. Can't get my ohms up enough to run on the evic. Any suggestions on getting my ohms up with 28 awg kanthal?

at what resistance does the evic cut out? 28g wire imo is good for resistances below 1.2Ω, and especially under 1Ω. most vv/vw devices will not fire below 1.3ish, so 30g wire is a much better option. although it is possible to make the 28g work, it just would take to much time to heat up because of the numerous wraps it would take to make a resistance above 1.3Ω. my recommendation is to get some 30g wire. with 30g do about 4 to 5 wraps, this will give you a resistance that your device will fire with no issues.

That's what I ended up doing vapdivrr. A guy at my local B&M Vintage Vapors gave me enough 30 to make a couple of wicks. I made one with a 5 wrap and it was around 2.8. But... my ohms was fluctuating and after some research here I found I didn't get my mesh wick heated up enough when I did it. Plus an eVic isn't the best for setting up a Genesis. I have a clone hopefully will be here this week and I'm going to rebuild it all from scratch again. I just consider it practice.
