vipvaporcig.com sells a cartomizer punch for $40 and Boge 3.0 stainless steel cartomizers for $1.99 apiece.

I would recommend a 3.0 ohm or higher cartomizer for your 6 volt setup. 3.0 ohms is actually too hot for my liking.

But, I think a better setup would be swapping out your 2 3-volt batteries for 1 AW IMR 18650 (high drain) battery and using low-resistance slotted cartomizers in your tank. You might also consider a 4.8 volt NiMh 18650 battery (and NiMh charger).

    If you need a bigger tank, ElectronicStix.com carries a 5.5 ml J-Tank.

Congratz Jdub on finding a device. I changed my mind on getting another silver bullet and purchased a Provari today :D I can't wait to get it. Keep on Vaping!!!! Stormie

Good luck with your Provari. If the voltage setting is too high for your cartomizer, the Provari will error out before you fry its circuitry.

For me, I use a dremel, slot with the tube cutting wheel.

Some people use a standard self-piercing 1/4" saddle valve, around $10 from a big box hardware store, with good results, to punch cartos. It's a standard plumbing widget, for small water feeds like house humidifiers.

I need an ecig that will last all day, reliable, I don't have to refill often and stays charged all day.

can anyone recommend a unit for me?

I want something thats simple and I dont have to keep filling or charging while I am rolling down the road.

i drive over the road and i have a map tank and ego-t batteries and the set up works great. no mess or fuss.

kinda kickin myself for not getting a provari and a reo but I think in time I will just buy em both

I bought 10 2.0 cartomizers because I run 3.7 it seems to be good to me so I never tried any other volts

I might down the road but who knows

Well, if you're looking at a VV, you might consider a Darwin or a Lava Tube. The Lava Tube is functionally equivalent to a Provari (except for an ohm meter) but cheaper, and the Darwin handles a wider range of atomizers. If you get a Darwin, look for a Gooseneck (ttteliquids.com) to go with it.

This thread has been interesting but my question is your choice of nicotine strength- seems pretty low for a previous 2-1/2 pad smoker. I was ultra lights but still had to go to 24mg to start. I am now testing some a bit less - will you be ok with less than 24mg?

those are just for enjoyment the other 4-600 ML I bought are 24-26-30 MG

thanks I figured whatever keeps me off analogs is worth it. I also enjoy it as a hobby

when I started them two years ago they only offered the 510, 808, and the silver bullet had just came out

    now the options are endless

I cannot wait to start trying juices and soon be messing with voltages

I am a cartomizer guy because they seem to last long for me but get plugged up

atomizers never seem to last although I found a new 510 atty in a box of old parts and its been dripping for a week perfect

I use foam filters in the tip and fill the tips then drip on top of that so I never flood or burn the atty and its worked good for a long time

by the way can anyone tell me what really happened to strictly ejuice? I used to love the prices and juices from that company

they shipped really fast also and now the website is a joke offering a few 3 and 10ml bottles

they used to have 100 flavors and 30 ml bottles and good service

however the 510 kit they sold me only one battery ever worked...
