Hey guys
I bought a KGO few weeks back, noticed after charging and using for half a day, it looses power.
So here is my question,
Is there an ecig/vaporiser that i can purchase, that would be approximatly same size as kgo, has to be manual, with variable voltage and needs to last me 16 hours of vaping per day. Abviously quality and reliability is a must.

I have heard about provari.. no need to mentioning it as im not looking to spend $200 on it.

Thanks

I doubt you'll find anything that fits that precise criteria you've laid out, but a Joytech Ego-C Twist will be close. The 1000mAh battery will last for a while, but I doubt it'll hit 16 hours. It will hit from 3.2 - 4.8 volts. It's a bit longer than a kgo, but the same diameter. They can be bought for under $30. check them out.

What size KGO did you get? The 650 is a 3-4 hour battery and the 1100 may last a whole work day. Another option is an Epower kit but it would be about the same power wise as an 1100 mah KGO. There ain't a magic battery yet and with power comes size & price. Personally, I just carry a spare battery with me. Cheap and VV there is only 1 option and that's the eGo Twist...

If you want 16 hours from a VV, you're going to need something that takes separate batteries in the 2000mah range.

A 1000mah Twist is about as big around as a kGo, but it's extremely long and you'll get even less vape time than you would with an 1100mah kGo. A 1000mah Twist is longer than a full sized Lavatube.

You always get less time from a VV than an equivalent sized fixed voltage battery.

If you got 2 1000mah twists, you could get 16 hours between the two. But now you have spent $60 on disposable e-cigs that top out at 4.8V and last maybe 8 hours each.

You can get a Chrome Lavatube for $60 shipped, including a 1600mah battery that'll give you close to the 16 hours you want. It's no Provari, but it's pretty reliable and allows for up to 6V and over 12 watts. All your eGo/kGo attachments will fit it and it has a warranty that will last longer than the total lifespan of a kGo or a Twist. It only comes with one battery, so pick up an extra 2250mah Panasonic battery for $8 shipped from orbtronic.com and you'll be covered for 18 hours or more.

$60 Copper bodied Lavatube with Chrome Plating. Add $13 for solid stainless steel. Use 30% off discount code Vtube30. Apolloecigs.com

Correction to previous post. The Lavatube kits at Apollo come with one 1600mah battery. That should last you 12-14 hours. You'll need a spare battery, so you can get a 2250mah panasonic CGR18650CH at Orbtronic for $8 shipped. That should give you over 18 hours.

I have the aluminum version. It's bigger in diameter than a kGo, but only an inch or two longer. I carry it anywhere, but I usually wear shirts with larger cargo type pockets. If you take the carto off, it's sturdy enough to stick in most pants pockets and it has a shutoff. It's not very heavy, but it's aluminum. I don't know the weight of the chrome or stainless ones.

Been lurking on this forum for months since I started vaping and this was the first thread made me pull the trigger on a VV tube! Love my KGO but can't wait for this tube to come in! I am a little confused about the battery from Orbtronic. There are two $8 matches for "CGR18650CH". The High Drain 18650, and the IMR Hybrid w/ Button Top. Which one will work with the Lavatube?

Thanks!

For reference, here is my chrome v-tube (wrapped in carbon fiber textured vinyl) next to my 1100mAh Twist. As you can see, the v-tube stands slightly taller at the connector. with the xl dct on the Twist it is as tall as the v-tube with a standard size carto tank. I use the Panasonic batteries mentioned above in my v-tube. They will easily last you 16 hours of heavy vaping. I didn't recommend it to you previously as I thought you were saying you wanted something close to the size of the kgo.

i guess i could get that and use it at home, and then use my KGO when i go out.

that is what I am doing now, 2 eGos, loaded with 1.3 ml each for my work day, when I get home they go on the charger, and I use a plug in VV power supply and drip.

it is working well for me so far.
