Oh jeeze, are you kidding me? That's perfect. I wasn't seeing Quinn in my head correctly at all until now. So yes, I do want to see that character in the show now, if they cast Jason Momoa.
I have to give the writers of this show the utmost props. I was not expecting anything I saw tonight. I couldn't have predicted one single event that occurred, and I've read all the books.
spoiler alert...
Biggest surprise for me- turning Tara.
I have read most of the books, The last two? Well, according to the reviews, they stunk... so I have avoided reading them. If I can get them from the library, I might have a go at them once I complete reading Diana Gabladon's 'Outlander' series - again.
With regard to Quinn: In my opinion, JM hits all of the right buttons for this character. He is just perfect for the role. Muscular, exotic looking, athletic, and absolutely GORGEOUS to look at. I just want to lick that man all over like a lollipop!!!! And he can act pretty good, too! However, if he cannot be had, perhaps Vin Diesel might make a good second choice? The problem here is that VD is only 6' tall and Quinn is what - 6'6" tall in the books? JM is 6'4", so he can pull off the height. Vin has a beautifully shaped skull, and we all know he can pull of bald beautifully, but to me, I would rather have JM. For a third choice, I would go with Shemar Moore, (be still my heart), if he has the time for the series considering that he is already busy doing Criminal Minds, even though he is only 6' tall. Final choice? Dwayne Johnson - but with his now being in his 40s, he might be just a bit too old for the part. He is, however, 6'5" and beautifully made.
I just hope they don't add any more oddball fairy creatures and stick with the gothic horror theme. I groan every time they drift from gothic horror to sci fi/fantasy. That is my one and only complaint. More scary and less wierd please.
Although Dwayne Johnson has been known to appear as a fairy character in the past so you might get your wish...![]()
