I also watch all my shows online or DVD. Netflix + hulu for most things though True Blood doesn't come to either of those venue's nearly soon enough to keep me sane.

Is it just me or is this season much more gore filled than the last 2? Rending of flesh in vivid 720p.

Yeah, true blood is becoming increasingly hard to find this season. HBO seems to be catching all the sites pretty quick. I usually watch everything on yidio.com, but I've had to resort to googling "watch true blood online" to try and find it on other websites. Sidereel.com has been updating same night or next day for trueblood lately which has been nice.

I agree! This season seems to be very visually graphic and violent. Hopefully things will return to the style of Season One before [the current season] ends. A mix of blood, gore and romance (SEX!) is what caught me up in Ball's interpretation.

I've noticed they've removed the SC [explicit sexual content] warning from every episode this year.

I've caught a couple of episodes of Vampire Diaries, which IMHO is "lame" and caters to mid-teens.

True Blood is becoming like that show, just amped up and with better side-story lines. Of course, they've even tried to monopolize on it (TB) with a pulp comic book… so goes the way of the series? I hope Not!!

I agree, last night was the best this season. The others episodes seemed too busy....crammed with too much going on.

I think the reason he didn't burn up in the sunlight was his body was filled willed Sookie's blood and it protected him, somewhat anyway, as you could see he was smoking a little as he ran off. I won't say but I know what Sookie is and why her blood may be protecting him. :D

I think it was either that, or he just was stronger because he had just fed. If you notice in other episodes he didn't explode like some vapires do in othershows and movies, in true blood they just start to sizzle, and if they're weak they sizzle and smoke faster.

but i love this show!!!

and for those who haven't seen it, it's always available to download :)

Oh damn... how did I miss this thread?

I like the show, missed pieces last season so for my birthday I hinted i would like seasons 1 & 2. Started watching season 1 and realized I never even seen season 1 so its all good.
Wife really likes Eric with long hair, as he sits on his "throne" in Fangtasia. I keep missing Sunday night episodes but catch it Friday nights!

Usually if you have HBO you get HBO on demand. So just FYI... They put True Blood on In Demand the day after it airs. So you could watch it Monday. :)

Ahahaha, I have HBO, I took the filter off our tap so we get it free, however not thru the digital box which is required for OnDemand.

Comcast sucks bad here... I fall asleep trying to scroll thru OnDemand menus, its that slow.

Um. For anyone who NEEDS to watch TrueBlood and doesn't have HBO you should add me on Facebook and send me a message and I'll help ya out!

I've read the books which are better than the show, but don't get me wrong, the show is very good too. I actually watched the first season then got the books. The author has an excellent writing style.

Interestingly enough, the show seems to add to, and twist the plots from the book just enough so people who have read the books will still be surprised and entertained.

Honestly though, I think this season has been the worst one so far. I'm hoping it gets better soon...

I can agree, never read True Blood books but books are are always better than the movies.

Stephen King writes great but his movies suck. (well, there not actually his)
and Fahrenheit 451 was a good book but the movie blew! (had to read it in High School)
Clear & Present Danger was a good book, (read that in jail) and movie was pretty good, but book was better!

So I guess that it would be a bad thing if I told you guys what Sookie really is, and what her brother Jason is about to become?

You can tell me!!!!!! I love spoilers. I hate sitting on the edge of my seat and waiting. I enjoy the show for the entertainment, I don't have to be freaking wondering all the time. PM me though, don't piss the rest of them off!
