The new 10-13 second cutoff regular, manual batteries, have a more free flow draw than the 10-13 second cutoff manual XL. When the XL's are modified for the more free flow draw, it will be perfect for the premium cartos. At least for me.

I agree, that is my preferred draw too.

They used to be more than 16.45 months ago. 15 was the sale price for the holidays

I recently returned my starter kit from Green Smoke. They sell batteries for $50; two lengths, one color (white), autos only, kind of chubby and really heavy. But they were very nice about giving me my refund, so I have to acknowledge that.

Anyway, the $150 I got back from GS (starter kit: 2 batts, 2 chargers and a box of cartomizers) will buy me a lot of goodies from V4L. :D

I hope they dont change the Xlong manuals at all. They are the most popular,so they must be working okay!I like the draw the way it is,and so must other people or they wouldnt be so popular.

I agree with you. I don't want them to change.

Thankfully, I think they will change. The new premium cartos need better airflow to keep from burning out. I think a case could be made that they are the most popular because they last a lot longer than the regulars.

Ive been using premiums and they seem to work fine, lasting long and not burning out.Seems people with autos have been having more issues.Maybe Im wrong,I guess time will tell.

Nbourbaki is right in the aspect that they need more airflow to keep them cooler...they dropped the resistance on the attomizer in the cartos so they'll get hotter and burn juice faster but that's what gives em the increased flavor and vapor...(about 5.48 watts of heat versus 4.56 watts on the old style)

That being said I agree with kimmy and keyzygirl...I hate the super airy draw and would rather it be the firmer draw and just give it a break more or rotate between them...

Gonna snag another chrome one.

I'm having a hard time choosing any other color than black. But then black isn't really a color, but more of a shade...

Well neither is chrome... ah crap, now i'm lost. :p

So let's just say none of the colors or shinies appeal to me.
Suppose a flat black vs a shiny black would be nice.

Nothing wrong with platinums either. Darn, that's not a color either. My blacks and chromes are nice, but I lean toward my plats when on the road. Just like the look.

Just got these in the mail today. I have been using a Silver Bullet at 6V for many months because the throat hit and flavor are just incredible. Then my switch started acting up so i had to mail it off to be repaired. Yes, i cried like a baby !! That left me with just my auto batts from V4L. There is no comparison between the 2. I love my silver bullet, period. So I order a couple of XL manuals Saturday hoping these would give me a little more oomph.

Ummmm, They surely do that. Im loving these. My silver bullet gives me what i need but its more like a blast. I take very short 1/2 second drags and thats it. With these xl manual batts it mimics a true cigarette drag. The vapor is warm and the TH is right on.

As a Silver Bullet lover i have to say that these XL's are great. This is about as close as you can get to a Mod without having to spend $100 to get one. I have grown to love 6V and didnt think i would ever go back to 3.7V. These XL's are making me re-examine this line of thought.

My suggestion: GET SOME OF THESE NOW !

Great points, and for 16.45 a damn steal. I have the silver bullits, and they are fine, I have GG, BB, Prodigy, and many others. OI have found 98% plus of the time, I still use my batteries. We are working on many new designs as well:pervy:1 piece units, as I do not want the extra liability of mods. Stick with me, and we makle ya smile:D
