do they work in any mods out there ,i have a older lavatube they never worked right now i bought a newer lt type (chrome torpedo)and they do the same thing vape about 2 to 3 times then the unit poweres off

Thats because of the protection circuit on the battery. Lava tubes require IMR batteries because of the buck/boost circuitry in the lava tube

I found that out the hard way are they useable in anything

In any application were stacking is not required. e.g single cell use
