I am a 64 year old male. When I was 18 I answered my country's call for help by joining the Marine Corps. I've worked all my life (and still am) and I've paid my fair share of taxes. Over the years I've observed more and more people distrusting our gov't. It's not surprising, but nonetheless, it's a shame.

It's not a surprise that the vaping community does not trust or believe anything the FDA prints or does. They have already set the stage for distrust by lying about the dangers of vaping. We all know that they speak with forked tongues. I've smoked analogs for about 50 years and 2 and 1/2 years ago I tried my first e-cig and I haven't touched a cigarette again. It was the same with my wife. My doctor told me that my lungs have cleared up remarkedly from what they sounded like when I smoked cigarettes. He told me and my wife to keep right on using them. No tar, No carcinogens and no carbon monoxcide. What the hell does it take to make the FDA realize that these ecigs are saving lives. This ridiculous attitude that the FDA has is really making me wonder if the big three cigarette manufacturers and the big pharmacutical companies ane influencing their decisions and test results. Here again, the distrust and speculation of "We the People" toward our gov't. And I don't want to hear these radical jerks say that these ecigs will start their children smoking. That's a crock of BULL_ _ It. If people can't control their children they shoulden't be parents. Guns kill kids, alcohol and drugs kill kids, but their not banned.
You just cannot arbitarilly ban everything that will hurt kids; parents need to step up to the plate.
Thanks....Jacey

the FDA lies about everything drug related to control the flow of $. They will try and control nicotine to control the flow of where you can spend your $ because many FDA board members are also board members of pharmaceutical and tobacco companies. they want you hooked on either tobacco or tobacco quitting drugs. If they get no piece of the pie, then you can't have a taste of it either

Its definately about the money. I dont believe the FDA needs to be educated about e-cigs. They have to know the benefits associated with them. The problem is that there is too much money being made on cigarettes and Pharma products. If they want to ban something let it be analogs. They have been killing us for years. If they were so concerned about health they would encourage everyone to switch to e-cigs. So Its just a matter of time that they tax the hell out of them. The price of juice is going to double. I can even live with that! At least we would still have access to our product of choice.

The fact that a ban on e-cigs has even been considered without a ban on Marboros should be all the evidence one needs to realize that what the FDA is interested in accomplishing has nothing to do with improving health or protecting the citizenry. They are bought and paid for just like every other part of the government and they act accordingly.

What they will try and control is the Nicotine as that is just 1 item and easy to regulate and track. So stock up on your Nic now and put it in the freezer for safe keeping and future use.

Hi harlielover,

I've been buying a lot of nicotine and putting it in the fridg. Do you know if it can be kept in the freezer and how long it will keep??

E cigs are everywhere now. Every convienient store around me now sell blu. As they get even bigger, the FDA will have a realy hard time banning them. Nic is not that bad for you. There are several research projects proving that oyher than addiction, its not harmfull. A lot of people use nic as a self medical system. They are more awake, attentive, and energetic. As big tobbaco enters the e cig market as the have with Blu, their money will fight for us. I verry much dislike big tobbaco, but a lot of folks here will say they are the good guy. All my friends that have died would tend to disagree with them.

It's also nice if much of your population has one or two moderate health conditions that require long term treatment, but don't prevent people from working (and paying taxes) before they get to retirement age. If the conditions worsen post retirement, and siphon the money from individual savings accounts through some sort of laundering system, call it pharmaceutical companies, back into the economy (and, more importantly, into your pockets), all the better. You know, from a Machiavellian perspective.
