While tweaking a RY4 recipe I came across, I stumbled upon a mix that, to me anyway, taste almost like tribecca.

TFA double ry4 10%
TFA acetyl prazine 1%
Ethyl maltol (10% in pg mix) .5%
tobacco Absulute (50% in PGA mix) .5
MTS vape wizard 1%
ACV (apple cider vinegar) one drop per 5ml
Magic mask 1% (some experts shun this stuff but it made a huge difference)

It was good 20 minutes after mixing, it was best after a couple days.
I've been vaping this everyday for a week now.
And I forgot, one drop apple cider vinegar per 5ml, gotta fix that

It changes the Ph level of the juice and makes the flavors really shine in tobacco juices, for fruity juices I use citric acid (lemon juice works too)
Theres a huge long discussion on the topic around here somewhere, but to me it was a boring read, and it was more fun to just experiment and see what happened.

Soooooooo.
I went to make up two more 20ml batches, and I find out I only have enough Double ry4 for one batch left.
I decided to try useing FA Desert ship at 5% in its place, its steeping now, we shall see how it comes out.

I'm very interested in your progress. I haven't started DIY yet but am making my shopping list and will start once I have a break in my work schedule. Tribeca is one of the first I want to tackle. Once I get rolling (a month or so), I'll share my results.

Ok so the larger batch was a bust, not sure what happened but the taste wasn't the same, might pull the TA from equation or at least lower the amout.
Also the version with desert ship was awful.

Why would someone shun the use of Magic Mask?

Also, how intense was the AP after steeping? I like what it can add to mixtures, but I'm apprehensive about adding more than a drop or two per 10mL.

I've heard some people think that if they add magic mask to a mix, then they need to fix the recipe so it's good with out the m.m.
Also the AP is not intense to me in this mix.

Is Magic Mask a must have in this recipe?

I would love to try your Try4becca but, I don't have Magic Mask...I have tried many vendors this past month and always out of stock. I placed an order with FA mid May but they said it was 45-60 days delivery time...still waiting on order.

It's not a must, but without it something just tastes a little off.

Thanks DJ, I found a 3 ml bottle of MM at purevapes, they were out of 30 ml bottle of MM. I am so glad I found it. I should get it in a few days... will be trying your version of try4becca and I will let you know how it goes. I love anything RY4.

I added 5 drops of AP to 3 vendor bought RY4 ~30 ml each. The AP really made them taste much better but a month later, I re-visited those juices. All bottles of RY4 in my opinion were ruined....all i could taste was the AP. ...Lesson learned use AP sparingly.

I got the MM today and made a 10 ml bottle...its really good freshly made. I am letting it steep and revisit it in a week. Thanks for sharing. This will definitely be in my top 5 rotation for an ADV.
