I've see all the responses at the Seattle PI sound-off boards, and the emails sent to King Co. (still trying to remove the belligerence from mine before I send it)

Instead of spamming all the related threads, here's what I submitted to The Stranger this morning:

The E-Cigarette Ban That Launched 1,000 Angry Words | Slog

As far as the BOH is concerned....I was thinking along the lines of simply asking them to go to the Stranger or the PI and legitimately, publicly defend their position. Their argument doesn't have a leg to stand on and wouldn't last too long in a courtroom. They're just trying to set baseless precedence and institutionalize the concept before it gets legally challenged.

That was an excellent article, You're points were very well stated reflections of how I feel about the whole thing. It kinda makes you sick that: they decided that this issue was worthy of their attention beyond all other issues, their reasoning was flawed and the outcome was predetermined.

It seems to me the only way to fight this sort of regulation is to have an owner of an establishment make a stand and create or open a vaping area, or vape friendly environment for us. Kind of like the El Gaucho tried to do for smokers in Tacoma(Pierce County). Of course they were crushed by the county. But I think with personal vaping, the cause would be just.

i'd take part in a gathering if anyone knows a bar/restaurant owner in the area. we could probably even bring in enough extra business to offset the piddly little $100/day fine. maybe even make them a profit, imagine the horror.
