Check Ohm's after every new build (about 2-3x's a night) - dry then wet. 1.5 is the lowest with dual coils I've hit but I shoot for 2.2-2.4.

I understand the basics - DC electricity, resistance, power, viscosity, wicking - can't seem to get them all to play nice together is all.

I'm pretty confident if you post over at the rba forum, they're going to tell you to go lower on the ohms;

other than that they're probably talk about how much cotton to use: not too much.

Thanks Keynith, I took all that into consideration but having spent a little time about 20 yrs ago as an electrician's gopher/journeyman and more recently rewired a motorcycle running at 45w ac to 100w dc I thought this would be easy.

Your the person to recommend the PT II, I might order one tonight.

I actually suggest the aerotank! It has the air flow controller and dual coil, if your into dual coils. Or you can get a protank 2 and buy the air flow controller that kanger makes

2nd this suggestion. Reasonably cheap ($25ish to get just 1 to try) and idiot proof in design.
