Am I the only one who has become obsessed with e-smoking when I haven't even received my first e-cig yet?? I haven't even taken my first puff and already I'm trying to get every smoker I know to join me! I'm telling everyone that after tomorrow, when my starter kit arrives, that I'll no longer be an analog smoker. Is this a little premature? LOL!

Could be. tobacco addiction is among the most difficult to break. Your positive attitude is going to help you a lot. Wait until you have used your device for a week (without making any modifications to it) and see how you feel about vaping at that time. There is a very small learning curve to using the device.

In a short time, though, you will understand the need for having extra parts on hand and the uphill trudge to finding your favorite e-liquids.

Lol...I'm kind of a consumer wh.... well, let's just say I like my new toys. And I love to show off my new toys to all my friends! This is the first time one of my toys could save my life, though! I'll try to keep my opinions to those who solicit them in the future. Don't wanna come off as pushy and turn someone off from e-cigs, that's for sure!

Trying to convert a kid at work who's expecting his first. He lives with his girfriends parents, and there are at least 3 smokers in the house. None of them have even thought that bringing a baby into a house full of smokers, who all smoke inside, would not be the best idea. Perfect person to show my ecig to. If I can convert him, maybe he could convert the rest of his family!

And most everyone else at works seems to treat me like some crazy, completely insane cat lady now that I have my ecig. Oh well!

Sounds to me you're ready to quit lilmomma06.
If you think you're trying to convert everyone now - just wait until you start vaping. Some of us (me) are terrible about preaching the goodness of e-cigs. Last week I gave info and demonstrations to two nurses, one doctor, and two used car salesmen. This week I did the same with two employees at my local hardware store.
Hey. They expressed interest. That's all it takes for me!

I've been a vaporer for app. 4 months now. Since the first day I haven't wanted or needed an analog. I'm sooo hepped up about it I take it out and vape at all kinds of places and do demonstrations, etc. Most everyone who sees it shows an interest. So far I feel as tho I helped prolong 4 people's lives so far ( the ones that i know switched to vaping)One of them is a nurse at my doctor's office!
The REAL kudos go to the inventors of these amazing products

I'm exactly in the same position you're in lilmomma06, I'm waiting for my first PV, the 510, since then I can only think of e-cigarettes, but I'm trying my best not to talk too much about it, I've read many times that ecig is not good for everyone, maybe you won't like it, maybe I won't or maybe we'll both love it, but hold your horses and wait to talk about it until you try it :)

Until we receive it, I bet you're just like me and are disgusted by analogs, I didn't even vaped 1 puff and can't stand analogs with everything I've read since last week about ecigs!

Welcome Zurd,

I think the folks that conclude that a personal vaporizer is not for them are the ones conned by the shady guys in the malls, and convention halls with their outlandish claims. After all, how would you feel about a Corvette if someone slapped a chevy logo and a spoiler on a Yugo and sold it to you as a "sports car"?

I fell for the same line of rubbish with my first e-cig, but stuck with it and did my research. Lesson learned. Another friend bought the exact same model that I did, and loves hers. The difference, however is that she drains a cartridge about every three days, where I was going through two a day minimum! Previously, she went through a pack every three to four days, whereas I was smoking at LEAST a pack a day.

lol jace! Good one!

Ya, once you have it, eventually you will get to a place where you DON'T want to answer more questions when you use it. But keep spreading the love!! :)

I dunno. I am pretty rabid once I get my sights set on something. Not like ex-smoker rabid, mind you, but then again, I am not exactly a Baptist level e-vapangelist either.

I have been trying to get everyone I know on these things, and with success.

I vape in public where appropriate, and suprisingly I have yet to really have anyone approach me with questions... in fact, rarely a second look. I'm using a Chuck or a Prodigy, so it's not as though it can be mistaken for a cigarette.

My wife and Iwere at a tire shop today, and we went outside and sat with the smokers (for a second, I was almost offended by the analog smoke, that struck me as funny) and not even a glance.

That kind of disappointed me as I really really really felt awful that they were smoking those horrible things... I wanted them to ask, or something... but nada.

The problem there I think is that they cannot "smell' the "non-smell" you are producing. Looks like smoke, must be smoke. Remember they can't smell anything.
