I have had a NPro njoy Ecig for over a year now. I don't use it all that often, and I do not smoke regular cigarettes or use tobacco products of any kind.

I really don't like paying $20 for 5 refils for these things, and I was wondering what my other options would be. Can I refill the Npro cartridges with eliquid? if so, which kind and how? I have been saving my empty refil cartridges in case they can be succesfully refilled.

I have considered upgrading to a more efficient, possibly cheaper system that would allow me to refill on my own, but not sure which one. Like many people, I got the NPro at 7-11 with the USB charger and two cartridges last year for $20 when they first came out.

Any body have any thoughts on this? thanks.

For a fairly light, occasional, user, if you would like to stay with roughly cigarette size and shape a KR808D-1 starter kit might be a good choice. Either automatic or manual batteries -- you are a light user, so the couple seconds to properly clear a carto after refilling isn't going to be too hard.
5-packs of prefilled 808 cartomizers run about $8 - $11 commonly, even less if the vendor has a sale at a given time, or you can use blank cartomizers.
808 cartomizers are pretty simple to refill.
vapor4life, nhaler, vaporetc, litecigusa are some places I've bought 808 equipment from, good service from all of them.
If you choose to buy a full starter kit, 2 batteries, charger, likely a 5 pack of prefilled cartomizers, that runs $35 - $45 after using vendor coupon codes, typically.
You can probably also just pick up some eliquid of the same general flavor as used in your NJoy, use what is called the condom method to refill them -- do a search here on ECF for the two words carto condom.

If you like the cigarette style, Vapor4Life and Smokeless Image sell good batteries/cartos/juices. They are two-piece systems with a battery and cartomizer that is a combination atomizer and cartridge. But you can also buy juices anywhere and use those to refill the cartos or fill the blank cartos they sell. Their pre-filled cartos are way less expensive than what you are paying for 5 refills.

I don't know what battery threads the NPro is, so I don't know if your chargers will fit on the KR808D-1 threads that vendors like V4L and Smokeless image have.

But you should be able to refill your cartridges, I would think. Hopefully someone here will come along who knows your system better than I do and can help with that.

Npro is RN4081

You can get blank cartomizers at Goodprophets, AZSmokeFree, Vaporkings.com

I would use juices with 20% VG or less in slim ecig cartos. I would also recommend you get a manual RN4081 batetry from AZSmokeFree.com (should be totally sealed on the threaded end) because when you refill cartos you will sometimes get leaks and leaks can damage or kill the drag switch of an auto.

I have heard RN4081 are harder to refill than the models I use (I use Boge 510 cartos on manual Joye 510 and Vapor4Life WOW cartos on KR808D-1). Check Youtube - I think searching for fill 4081 or refill 4081 will bring up one, and fill Npro or fill Njoy brings up another. If Njoy uses hard caps or glue on the caps then refilling their cartos would probably be harder then filling blanks.

Thanks to everyone for your replies. I did watch a youtube video on refilling NJoy's using the "condom method"...looks pretty easy but I do understand the leakage issues. Maybe a manual battery would be worth looking into.

As far as how much I vape and where...this is kind of funny. I bought the NJoy last year when it hit 711. My mom had an older manual battery style ecigarette back in 2009, but I don't remember which one it was. She has since quit smoking and I don't even think she still has the older ecigarette.

Anyway, I used to smoke and dip, but I quit back in April of this year (including the ecig). About 4 months later, I pulled out my ecig an decided to go buy some ultra light refils. It is wierd because I really get no head buzz from this thing, but I just like using it! I even went on vacation for 5 days an didn't have any physical withdrawls from it. If I had to go 5 days without a smoke or a dip I would be climbing the walls, but I didn't really miss the ecig.

So I probably have only used about 15 carts with this NJoy battery. It seems to work good and hold a charge, but I can't keep paying $20 for 5 refills. It usually takes about 1.5-2 weeks to go through 5 carts. Ideally I would like to pay no more than $20 a month for my ecig usage.

I usually vape anywhere, including in my office, sometimes while driving, but not too much. Mainly when I am relaxing. :2cool:

If refilling the NJoys is a hassle, then likely a standard 808 or even a 510 small package would fit you pretty well.
Using like 1 carto worth of liquid every two days is at the light end of the spectrum. Refilling normal 808 or 510 cartos isn't hard, and as long as you blow through them onto a tissue and wipe the carto connector before putting it on, an auto battery should be fine. (There's nothing wrong with manuals, they're great, just not necessary unless you do a lot of vaping, are refilling a lot, likely to be a bit sloppy over time.)

What is the threading size for the screw on part for the NJoy?

Can I buy refillable carts (preferrably longer carts) that would be compatible with the NJoy?

Since I already have the NJoy battery and charger, I would just like to get some refillable carts and juice and stick with what I have without spending lots of money on fancy new gear. Thanks!:p

Dormouse answered in post #4 as to where you can purchase refillable carts and juice. Njoy threading is 4081. Here's a link to the 4081 parts at Good Prophets.

That is for an atomizer. With the atomizer you drip juice directly onto the atomizer or attach a cartridge to it. You fill the cartridge with juice. You may have to replace the filler, but the cartridge can be used indefinitely. The atomizer will have to be replaced.

Or you can get the cartomizer (a cartridge & atomizer combined). This too will have to be replaced.

The NEW GP Double Deuce 22 Cartomizers

The cartomizer usually holds more juice, can be filled several times but they need to be replaced. Some people are able to clean them successfully.

The atomizer also has to be replaced when they stop working.

I mostly use cartomizers so I'm not sure how long most atomizers usually last.

...keep in mind, whether you keep what you have or upgrade to a 501, if you refill your own, you have a choice of thousands of flavor combos and you can get most all of them with 0% nic, so you won't renew your addiction........
madjack:2cool:
p.s. personally, iff'n I were you, I would get a manual JOYE 501 slimline and some BOGE Cartomizers and be good to go.............mj

Just wanted to say I ended up picking up some 4081 atomizers and refillable carts & juice from GOODPROPHETS.

Overall Rob was very helpful, the items arrived in a timely manner and free shipping on orders over $30!

The juice, which is advertised as a thinned VG, works very well with the atomizers and the vapor it produces is amazing!

Thanks for all your help. I admit that some of the newer non-cigarette style rigs are pretty enticing, but since I already have invested in these batteries, and now have 10-15 refillable carts plus two 4018 atomizers, plus juice, I will stay put.

THANKS TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP!
