Trying to find my first e-cig/vaporizer

@Papapit
Hi there. Thanks for the advise and your thoughts on vaporizers. However, I already ordered (and received) my Kangertech Evod vaporizer. I'll stick with this for some time, because I cannot justify spending another 60 bucks on a different product, without having given this one a real try.

@Daviedog
I won't. I did however remove my pack of tobacco out of my coat pocket and am not planning on carrying it around with me anymore. For now I haven't touched my tobacco since this afternoon, saving me...well, 2 analog cigarettes I guess.
I think by now I vaped the equivalent of 4 cigarettes though. I'm finding it hard to tell when to stop, so I lazily keep on vaping.

I did notice that the juice I'm using right now has somewhat of a chemical/burnt aftertaste...I'll have to go try something else I guess, but for now I'll stick with this...

Hmmm, maybe I should try a fruity flavor....:)

So I have been vaping for 2 days now, and here are some things I noticed. Not in any particular order:

- My throat is feeling somewhat sore, almost like the onset of getting a cold. I'm pretty sure it's the vaping that's causing this.
- In the last 48 hours I have smoked 1.5 cigarette.
- The Evo juice I'm using right now is just not very good. I'll have to find me something better. This kinda loses its taste and starts to burn after a while.
- The Kangertech Evod that I have worked great for the first day. Then it started to produce less vapor yesterday evening, and this morning it made a horrible gurgling noise. It did not produce much vapor anymore, and it started to leak out of the mouth piece. Getting a drop of ejuice on your tongue or lips is pretty disgusting. Almost made me wish for a real cigarette that just "works" but I want to stick with vaping!
So when I came home from work, I did some googling, and apparently the Evod is kind of a hit-or-miss kind of deal. I took mine apart, rinsed out the mouth piece with water and dried it. Then I took the coil unit apart. There is a rubber washer at the bottom. According to google flipping this upside-down works for the gurgling. It didn't for me, so I ended up pulling a washer off of an unused coil and putting that on top of the first one, upside-down. Now it produces a lot of vapor again without gurgling.

I also noticed these things have a wick or something at the bottom of the coil unit? What does the wick do? It's like a stringy piece of rope.

I think the trick with these Evod's is to not turn them upside-down quickly, or fluid will leak out of the mouth piece.

Now I am really trying to find me some ejuice that does deliver the throat hit, but without the lingering burning feeling afterwards. I am hoping someone can tell me what kind of ejuice worked for them, so that I can hopefully make a more informed decision when buying another bottle of ejuice. :)
