I've been "really" vaping for about a month after around a year of Blu's. I'm good with my setup now, an MVP 2.0 with either my Nautilus mini (preferred) or Aerotank mini (not bad, but just not quite as goon as the Nautilus.) I'm kinda at a loss on what to even try. When I used to smoke pipe tobacco I liked deep earthy tones Burley X10, Green River blend ( a light tobacco with green tea undertones discontinued kinda like Acid's Cold Tea Infusion), and Black Vanilla Cavendish. The only fruity anything I smoked was a mild peachy blend I would mix with the vanilla. I know that vaping is apples to oranges when compared to smoke, but thought it might help show more about me. The idea of fruity vapes just doesn't sound all that great. Some of it maybe but I don't really want to vape jolly ranchers. Which makes it all the weirder that my go to vapes seem to me a buttery rum that tastes like butterscotch and root beer. Ry4 is nifty. Vintage e-liquids The Drifter is kinda nice.

I'm kinda thinking coffees and teas might be the way to go. I did dabble with apple spice and pumpkin spice for fall tastes and was pleased... but I had to cut the apple with vanilla as the stronger apple was just kinda overwhelming.

I don't get to hangout at the local stores to try much of their wares. So I'm sending out a call for opinions. Any suggestions on things to try? Doesn't even have to be a particular blend, just somewhere to start. Thanks in advance, and sorry for the long build up.

As a former pipe smoker, I can assure you you'll not find anything like those earthy burley tones in e-juice. Seeing as you liked vanilla, try some custardy dessert flavors. As a former burley lover, I find Nicoticket's Virus to be wonderful. It's not burley, but it has some of the notes with a mapley sweetness. I'm a Nicoticket fanboy so approach at your own risk. That said, I've tried tens of vendors in my time and Nicoticket is one of the few keepers. Good luck in your search.

It just occurred to me, another juice you'd almost certainly like is Space Jam's Eclipse. Very cavendishy(new word).

I like a bunch of nicoticket stuff. Everything I have tried from them I have liked. Love Creme Brulee, Wakonda, and betelgeuse.
I have tried 10 of their 16 flavors and have atleast liked all 10. CLS is pretty great too but I vaped most of it before it was steeped.

I mostly smoked grape swishers and unfiltered\hand rolled. I like a really strong smoke.

The Vapor Spot also has some great juice. Clapton and Cash are my faves. Or Vaping Rabbbit: hatter, alice and white queen

You can still vape pipe tobaccos.

MyVapeJuice, LLC

Pipe Tobacco e-Liquids

That's how I started out. I discovered Naturally Extracted Tobaccos (NET), and through those found a few I really enjoyed. I didn't want anything sweet, at the beginning, but once I had some sweet Cavendish belnded NETs, I found some fruit tobacco and the next thing you know I'm vaping more dessert and fruit elquids and less and less tobaccos.

Some folks stay on the NETs, some go straight to fruits and coffees and desserts. Sometimes it's just a journey of discovery as your tastes and body changes to quitting smoking.

Best of luck.
