Have you looked at a Lavatube Mini?

Second from the left.

As you can see it's shorter than a 900 mAh eGo, is VV and is large and solid enough to take big tanks as well as small ones. It doesn't have passthrough charging but it does have replacable batteries so you can charge one while using another.

There are a lot of places that sell these, however doing a quick google search i found this to be one of the cheapest and reputable resellers. I believe they're located in elmhurst IL "quenceadence as I live in IL" have to go back and browse there site. As for quality Joyetech is the company that manufactures the original ego ecigs. Manufactures not designs, so I would say probly the best ego batteries... I think they make them for other companies other than just with there name on it.
