I've previously had a Joye 510 and an Ego-T (totally wicked branded) but neither did much for me at the time. I'm trying to get back into it after a nearly 2.5 year hiatus, lol.

Anyway, I have some Clear Vision Clearomizers that I'm currently using with my old Ego-T battery. Vapor production is OK (not great) but having a hard time tasting anything. It looks like these are rated at 2.8ohm, is that too high for my old battery? I've tried different liquids from different vendors, same thing: vapor production is OK but little to no taste.

I have a 1300mah VV battery (spinner variant) on the way so maybe that'll help. Any thoughts? Recommendations? I'm trying to not put in too much money into this until I decide I'm going to stick with it this time.

Yes, you need more volts for that 2.8 ohm. Once you get your VV, you should be good. Just start dialing in from 3.7 and work your way up until you get what you need, your "sweet spot."

Also, try to fluctuate your PG/VG ratio when you buy juice to see if that helps deliver more flavor, or vapor or throat hit until you find what best works for you. PG = more flavor/TH, more VG = more vapor, less flavor/TH.

Welcome back!

Were you originally able to taste the juice? Vaper's Tongue is a very common phenomenon it can happen when you vape the same juice/flavor for an extended period. You lose the ability to taste the flavor because you have been accustomed to it. The same thing happens when you are in a room with an air freshener, after a period you can no longer smell it because you have gotten used to it.
The best "cure" for vaper's tongue is to switch to a completely different flavor and wait for it to go away, or vape the flavor you don't like (hey you cant taste it :p). Searching the forum for vaper's tongue will yield you some posts and other remedies/solutions.

As for the power on your battery, as long as whatever you are using isn't dual coil and is above 1 Ohm, you should be fine. http://i.imgur.com/Ohn8o.png Refer to this if you have any questions about what voltage to set your battery at.

Don't think it's vaper's tongue. I literally just started up again, it's only been about 2 days or so, 1 flavor each day, and barely any flavor. Maybe the atomizers need to be broken in some more.

Thanks for the chart, I'll keep that handy when my VV battery comes.
