I am on my 3rd day of the gogo and I am about to go back to my rn4081. the best thing abut the gogo is that large bat that did take me 2 1/2 days to run out.

carrying the gogo in my pocekt or trying I lost 2of the little plastic caps in 4 hours from the top. I went out but a pack of jewel sweets and sanded them down after seeing a great video about it from Steel Jan

long term I do not think this tip is the one I am looking for and I have ordered a 808 drip tip.

maybe my issue is just with the carst and I see in the forums I am not alone in this.

out of the 5 carts that the gogo came with I am about to start my 3rd

Cart 1 couldn't wait to get the prefill down a bit to put in some ry4..not sure if I waited to long or what but I got a burnt taste and never got rid of it.
I pulled the carto apart and although I do not see an marks or issues it is unusable.

cart 2- I was paranoid this time around a kept it full of juice several times a day but lo and behold I got a couple of really strong hit any time I filled it full which would then subside and give me the hit and taste I was used to. Then it happened soon after topping it off I got the burn taste in carto number 2 and there is no way it was dry I had just syringed a mil in not half an hour earlier.

I am not sure if I should get more cartos or what at what point do you call it a day after spending good money after bad.
I have been back to smoking analogs out of frustration I light it up and it works no ohms no inconsistency same taste and throat hit each time..

any advice would be greatly appreciated as I kind of liked the thought of me being a non-smoker

Frustrating I know, but remember that even a couple of those carts are cheaper than a pack of cigs (and the cigs will become nothing more than ashes shortly)...so don't give up.

I used about 10 of these carts and only had one develop the burnt taste, and that was after a lot of heavy use (and myself getting careless and letting that one get too dry)....so hopefully some others will chime in with some better advice.

I think cigeasy and possibly some other vendors are selling adapters for the go-go. That might give you a chance to experiment some. Also there's supposed to be some good tips in the go-go thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/175310-users-guide-gogo.html

The new duel coil cartos from smok tech is getting good reviews. If you can find a 510 adapter for your go-go, you might give it a try. Anyways I hope you get your problems sorted. Vape on. :vapor:

The "good money after bad" thing sucks. About $300 spent on stuff that didn't work for me before I settled into vaping. All I can say is don't give up yet. Getting off the smokes seems worth it in the long run.

I haven't experienced the burnt taste with the go-go cartomizers yet. The flavor of the juice seems to fade before the cartomizers go dry.

You have a Go-Go? Maybe there's a secret to filling them? I think this is alphavaps first pv.

I have never had a burnt taste on my go-carts and I have used over 40. I use the syringe method of filling my go-carts but have only been doing that recently. Otherwise I would drip onto the sides while turning it - but be patient and slow because it takes a lot of juice and you should let it sink down in there.
I am sorry to hear of your frustration - PM if you have any questions, maybe I can help

so I am on to cart 3..one thing I noticed today is for whatever reason even though it is only 4 days old I did not get one of the 3 click on 3 click off batteries from cigeasy..luck of the draw I guess. So while the gogo was in my pocket it was probably on.. I noticed it does not take much contact to turn the battery on. I am wondering though as a newbie what is the best way for me to determine how much juice I use in a day? The gogo seems to be very unforgiving if it gets dry but I have no idea how much\when I should fill it and I am tired of watching my liquid come out the bottom because I have no clue if its time for a top off....

update I have been instructed in the 3 click on and 3 click off and it works..Thanks

The best way to judge your daily juice usage is to fill a brand new carto using the drop method described exactly in the User's Guide. 20 drops and let the juice settle. 20 more, etc. Count your drops so you know exactly what it takes to fill one of these behemoths. Of course you've read the user's guide? And are aware of using a q-tip down the center hole to prevent dripping in it and showing a "false fill". Then Use your gogo for a 24 hr period. Refill using the drop method the following day. count the drops. Now you know how many drops you use in a day. Keep refilling the gogo with your daily dose of drops. Depending on your juice you should get from 5 days to 3 weeks just topping it off every night. Thick, sweet juices may only work for 5 refills or so as the juice gunks up the filler and creates a caramelized crust on the element. Thin clear juice will cycle for up to 3 weeks before the carto starts to lose efficiency. One point often overlooked. The gocarts are considered to be a disposable item and are relatively cheap. If you averaged 1 a week, that would be 12.00 a month which is less than 2 packs of smokes.

Once you decide to clean the gocart. there are several methods. After extensive experimemtation I have settled on what I consider the best one.

Remove the plastic plug.
Run under hot water
Remove the wet filler using tweezers or needle nose plyers
Unroll the filler carefully keeping all intact
Wash the filler thoroughly until clean under hot tap water.
Wash empty gocart throughly under hot tap water.
Shake excess water from gocart and let dry throughly
Once gocart is dry, dry burn the empty go cart two or three times. This removes any crud sticking to the coil.
Rewash gocart to remove any ash from the dry burn and dry again
Using a red cocktail straw which slips perfectly over the center tube rewrap the clean filler tightly around the straw and slide it back in the gocart. Remove cocktail straw and using a McDonalds straw which is much larger in diameter, lightly tamp the reinserted filler back down in the gocart until it is just slightly below the center tube. When you first do this procedure you may want to reinsert the filler wet as it wraps tighter and is easier to reinsert. After a few cartos you may try reinserting the filler dry and then you can immediately refill the gocart and use it instead of waiting for it to dry.

Lots of good info in the ego model sub forum.
If all else fails and you end up hating the product you could probably sell it in the classifieds in less than a day as the demand for them is very hot and vendors can't keep them in stock. Currently both vendors are sold out of gogos.

Good luck and I would appreciate your feedback on how you actually resolve your problems as I am compiling various challenges people are experiencing with the gogo and catagorizing what fixes actually work. Your input would be invaluable.

Are you removing the carto from the battery before filling?
Have you tried different juices?
I wrote the User's Guide and have been compiling and experimenting with various problems and fixes for the gogo. Frankly, I've never encountered a situation where every single filled carto has a burned taste right out of the gate like you are experiencing. Very strange indeed. Do you have prefilled cartos? What kind of juice are you using? What percentage of pg/vg and what flavor?

I suggest you bring your situation over to the gogo threads in the ego type subforum. There are many very experienced gogo users who check regularly and many heads are better than one. I'm sure if we all barnstorm the problem we will come up with a solution.
