So I really want to get back into vaping and this time hopefully stick with it. When I first tried it over a year ago I was back to analogs within 2 days. At the time I blame it on the blu e-cig I bought... Really wasn't a good ecig and I think that turned me off from vaping. A few months back I picked up a volcano magma kit looking to try again and while it was much better I still wasn't getting the amount of vapor and throat hit I wanted. I guess it didn't give me the same "feeling" I was used to with analogs so I ended up going back to them again. Just the other day a co worker bought the volcano inferno and let me try it. Felt the same since it used the same atomizer as the magma i got, just better battery life so I wasn't that impressed. He then swapped out the atomizer for a cisco 306 he had with a drip tip. Finally the hit I got was more of what I was looking for... Tons of vapor and a real nice throat hit. The only problem was the atty needed 3-4 drops of juice every few hits and quickly dried out giving me that nasty burnt taste. I also didn't like the size of the inferno, the analog style ecigs are still much more convenient for me on the go.

So I guess what I'm looking for is a kit that will give me a hit similar to the cisco atty I tried on the inferno but a battery size similar to a traditional analog cig. I've been looking around at reviews and came across the Bloog MaxxFusion. I like the convienence of the cartomizer and from what I've been reading it hits like cisco atty. It's expensive but if it gets me off analogs it's well worth the price to me. What do you think?

From what I understand, the Bloog is just an overpriced kr808d-1 with the standard 280mah battery. You can pick one of those up at LiteCigUSA for $30.

If you want the LR experience without the hassle of dripping, and still use your 510 setup, you can try the Boge 510 2.0 ohm cartomizers. You will hear a lot of good reviews and opinions about them around this forum:) You may want to try this before getting a whole new kit.

Edit: I just reread your OP, it's your co worker that has the Inferno. So, the LR won't work well on the Magma.

I don't know what it is, because I don't know much of anything about e-cigs, but I just picked up a Bloog MaxxFusion and I can say two things about it:

1. It was more expensive than other similar options.
2. It seems to work well.

I bought it because of the reviews, and what they were saying held true for me. Good vapor production, draw feels exactly like an analog. It just works. One battery lasts me a full day or more (I don't think I vape as much as others here).

Like I said, I can only speak for what I have tried, and this is the only thing I have tried. There might very well be something else that works just as well for less money, but I'm happy with mine so far.

Actually he has another inferno kit he was willing to sell me for cheap. Basically brand new, bought it for his wife and she never used it.

I had a feeling the LR wouldnt work on the magma battery after I started reading more about them. Although I really want the hit of the LR atty and the size of the magma the vapor the atty puts out is probably more important to me. The inferno with the Boge atty might be worth the try in that case. I have lots of 510 accessories so at least I could still use them if I stayed with it rather than getting the MaxxFusion.

If I was going to stick with the magma battery and not go LR what cartomizer would be best to use with it? I'm sure there are some out there better than the cartomizer volcano sells for it.

You can still get the Boge cartomizers for the the Magma, just not the 2.0 or LR. You can just get the standard or 3.0. You're just not going to get that great TH/vapor you want. Unless I'm wrong, there's not a lot of options with the Magma/Standard 510. You need at least a 350mah battery for LR options(??)

I would say to gamble $8 of your money and pick up the Boge LR cartos and try them on your co worker's Inferno. If that is what you like, then you can get the extra kit from him and be done.

If the Cisco 306 was a LR (low resistance) atty (and I think those are) then you should really only use those on fat and powerful batteries, not the slim batteries because LR sucks more power. If it was not LR then you could try the same atty on any kind of 510 or any PV battery that has a 510 adapter available. The 306 attys are shorter than 510 attys, so you could use xl 510 batteries (280mah?) w/ non-LR 306 attys and carts (306 attys should screw right on 510).

Perhaps you could find happiness by buying both - a slim 510-compatible unit with regular Joye 306 or other attys for when you are out, and the fat battery version (or a powerful PT) with LR 306 atty for at home?

Did you find out what ejuice the friend was using too? That might be a juice you would like.
