Hello I have been trying to stop doing skoal for the last few months with vape. My juice I use is 48 mg salt nic. I enjoy it a lot but I still keep putting skoal in my mouth I have been doing skoal for ten years now I use to do a can a day of grizzle wintergreen it did go down to half a can now but I just want to stop wasting money on it now any tips or advice would be helpful. Thanks

Seems it's working somewhat. Maybe try nic salts, it's not salt or salty, it's a liquid just like freebase nic. The 'nic effect' is supposed to 'hit you' quicker, although not last quite as long. Or try a WTA liquid as HigherStateD suggested.

I have been using nic salts I was using 24 mg. But it didn’t feel like it was working so I went up to 48 mg salt nic it seems to help a lot just still get the craving.
Smooth, or hit? Hit is more natural-like, as in, real tobacco. Most salt juice out there is smooth, as hit can have a flavor to it. I find it's more of a body feel, but still with an alert feeling. The feeling of smooth salts is more like freebase.

I know there's at least one person here who vapes in the mid 50 nic level range. Even though I edited out the 'try upping your nic level' in my first post, maybe you should try that too. Have you tried a Juul pod? They're in the 48 nic level range. The makers of that pod don't measure nic levels like everyone else, so even though the box says 5.0%, they're not quite up to 50 mg/ml. I believe they're in the 46-48 ballpark, so you'd probably be better off trying a friends for a while. Or if you don't mind taking a $50 chance, buy a kit.

I'm not sure how they measured, but I've SEEN juice retail with 60mg... I wouldn't advise that though...

Raising nic level alone won't do it. Just like switching from smoking to vaping, there are other things at play besides nic. That's what you have to overcome.
When I first started there were days I'd hit 48mg juice and that still didn't cut it. Hella throat hit though as there were no "salts" back then. :headbang:

It’s a smooth hit I have a cluster taste so it taste like Tabacco vannile and Carmel I get a good hit off of it I have a Apollo Vandy vape.
Sounds like an RY4 if I've ever heard it...

My guess remains, it is probably an action addiction. A piece of gum would probably do it, and it's the easiest, cheapest place to start.

At some point you will have to choose to simply not buy the chew and then exert some will power. Hopefully you'll sense when that time has arrived. The first couple weeks for me was a bear but each week it got easier. Wishing you success at reaching your goal.

From what I understand, juul only measures the nicotine part of the salt, not the protonating acid. Their 55mg is actually much higher.
That could be it. I don't have much interest in that particular thing, so I fast read the post and didn't try to memorize anything..

thanks Yes it’s like a ry4 it is Vapetasia royalty two I have been using

Ohh... Ry2, that's a good one. Should have a smokey note? Not ashy, but like a liquid smoke, almost.... Sorry, hard to describe... Ry3 was my fave though. Can't find a decent recipe. I'm gonna recreate, or should I say, create a juice close to my memory of it.
