Trying to toy around with 22 gauge

Just got a small spool of 22 gauge kanthal, and tossed a .4 ohm dual micro coil in my TOBH. I usually keep my 24g builds at this resistance, but I find that it isn't heating up enough on my usual 2-3 second drag. I understand that this wire is thicker, and thus heats up slower, but I was curious if anyone else on here uses 22g builds, and if so, what are they? I guess you could say I'm a cloudchaser, but mainly because I like a thick mouth-feel on my ADV. So essentially what I'm looking for is a good all day build that produces a good amount of vapor without taking a while to heat up. I'm using a SS hcigar Nemmy with VTC5's and some 35 amp batteries I got from my local B&M (which I'm not massively keen about using because I don't know the brand for sure).

if you have any 26g A1, 4(open)wrap dual on 1/8(3mm) ID is .2Ω or 5(open)wrap dual on 2mm ID is .3Ω

both are good hitters and always heat superfast & probably a bit faster if you put them on a rba with 3post's where you have both coil's still connected to each other through the + legs/+post, is called a sleeper.

(open) is gaps between the coil's, not like a micro style where they are touching, whe you squeeze the wires together touching you also lower the ohm's by .2ohms roughly making it take longer to heat ...

it comes out to about .2 to .25 ohms for me usually. its pretty much the only build i do anymore and ive had my current build almost 2 weeks, just changing the cotton every other day or so. forgot to put that when i replied b4

Alright, well I'll give this build a go once I get back home. I'm at a hotel and left my ohm checker back at the house. Somehow managed to remember everything else I needed though. Damn.

i cant remember what size drill bit i use, but its about the size of a screw driver in those sets for working on small projects... somewhere between a micro coil and macro coil...

I think I'm gonna do a 5 wrap on a 1/16th drillbit and see what that comes out to. I have a 7.5 wrap micro right now so it should be about right.

So I've put in a 4-wrap micro and it's exactly what I was looking for. Comes out to a nice .25 so I'm not pushing my battery too hard. Thanks dude!
