Travel and Vaping TSA was fine with my e-cig , but...

[FONT="][FONT=Arial][COLOR=Black] I had an interesting time at airport security anyway. Put my knapsack through the x-ray, and they wanted to search it. [/COLOR][/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#1F497D][FONT="]8-o [/FONT][FONT="][FONT=Arial][COLOR=Black]I was thinking "crap, they want me to explain the batteries and pcc…." But that wasn’t it. I’d unknowingly left my multi-tool in my knapsack- a 3 inch long an all-in-one combination of screwdriver, pliers, KNIFE……oops.

[FONT="]The TSA guy was very nice about it and let me go out and put it in my car and come back through security. I felt just a bit stooopid[/FONT]

Just came back from a trip to NH from Chicago; outbound the Little Chuck didn't even get a mention. On the return, they pulled it, took it away to discuss it, brought it back to ask what it does, and declined my offer to demonstrate it.

In the end, I told them it was an inhaler with nicotine to which the TSA guy said, "To help quit smoking?" to which I replied, "Not really...I use it instead of smoking" and he said, "I quit smoking once, for about 3 years, but now I'm back on it..."

I was so happy they didn't confiscate it, I didn't bother to tout the benefits of e-cigs...

Yeah, it seems odd to be relieved that it wasn't the e-cig they were worried about. I'd have been really anxious if I was trying to take a mod through. Good to know that it turned out not to be a problem for you

Dont sweat going through security. No ecig items at this time are banned by the TSA. Just keep your liquids in 3ml or smaller bottles, all wrapped up in a 1 quart ziploc bag and you will have no problems. They ca question you about the items, but none of it is banned.

I bring all my mods with me when I work, and while have been questioned a few times, never have had any issues. I was just stopped in San Antonio a few days ago, and the TSA agent actually stopped me and asked "Do you have detonators in your bag?" I almost fell over.... along with a few of the other passengers around me as I was in uniform!!!!!

You have no worries about going through security!
