Budget; double whatever you though you might spend.
Time; triple the amount of time you think this endeavour will take.

Unless you have access to a free parts source, you are better served ONLY spending $30 on an "inspired-by" version.

Good luck

Lol! I know right.
Budget is not the biggest part of it as much as is the quality of the build ill spend what I have to. But if people have a better cheaper way I'm all in haha.

The cheapest ones I've made were from u-cans. Almost no real work involved if you find the right little parts. The most expensive has about ten dollars in materials in it, but I spent about $300 on tools since I decided I really needed indexable carbide threading tools to get the quality of threads I wanted.

I have a hobby lathe at home and use that for all my modding, but it is frustrating compared to the ease at which I can make parts at work. Nothing like cnc to make a guy lazy.

Unfortunately I do not have a lathe. I do however work at a car manufacturing plant lol I have access to lots of tools, piping, wiring etc. The plan was to build a full mech but I was just given the inter workings of a map v.2 from a buddy he dropped it and broke the switch so I took everything out of it and am thinking of makin my own vv/vw device. Any suggestions ?
