Tube stuck

Hi everyone,

I have an OBS cube and i am have some (a lot) of trouble today. I can unscrew the tank from the battery no problem but i cannot get the tube to seperate from base. I have tried rubber bands/gloves. I tried hot water, tge freezer etc with no joy. I cant change the coil until i get the tube off. Anyone got any ideas on what i could try?

Try something like a thin screw driver, rod, straightened paper clips through the airflow openings in the base to hold it as you unthread the top.

Thanks for the advice. Still cant get it off. Annoying me now. May need to buy a new tank

Remove drip tip & top cap like you would to fill, grasp the fill ring on top & base from airflow and twist to unthread.
You may have to get imaginative to find something to help get a good grip on fill ring.
It is only held together by the internal threads in the top of the replaceable head & fill ring.

those grip things for opening jars.. If you don't have one of those then the rubber gloves you clean with works.

Needle nose pliers, try to unscrew the fill cap and possibly the coil comes with it. Either the coil top or bottom was cross threaded.
