sorry to bother you. what about the ego c twist or vision spinner which would u suggest I get as a back up just incase?

If you bought, hypothetically, a 510 threaded battery and wanted to use a kr808 carto, then your 510>kr808 adapter would work.

Still with me? :D

That's why I said it would look funny. But it would work, if you had a right adapter, kr808>510.

Clear as mud?

I have both and I love both. Spinner is tad shorter and fatter, a tad, mind you, and the voltage markings are much easier to read without a magnifying glass on the Spinner, if that matters to you. Egos are usually more reliable and joyetech offers better warranty. The rest is a wash.

how do I hide the ego threads? with the short cone?

I use this, this is type B. Another one you may use with the eGos and small tanks and mini ViVi Novas is type D.

the vision spinner is 16.5 mm in diameter right? the 1300 mah...would a smoktek dct tank and a smoktek 510 carto work well with it? or would it look weird? it's. 19.5 mm tank

Is it? I don't have a 1300 mAh Spinner. 3 mm difference is not a big deal. Why do you want a Smoktech DCC tank, though? You have a much better one already--your Boge tank. It's a better tanks and a better cartomizer--dual coils are really not good. Long story!

Anyway, DCC tanks have all kinds of problems, Watch PBusardo's Youtube review.

The are and the are not. Ego threaded heads thread onto outside threads of ego batteries, like T3, eVod, etc. 510 threaded haeds connect to eGos' inner threads, where the cartomizers go.

But they are all compatible, they don't need thread adapters--just a thread cover if you want to use a 510 threaded tank or ViVi Nova on your eGo.

Get a vv Twist or Spinner, try the tank that you already have and take it from there. If you want to get an extra tank, try the F15--it's small, but it fits the egos perfectly.

so I would have to get an ego cone to cover the ego threads so that my boge tank will sit on top and there won't be a huge gap???
lol

Maybe this illustration will help you understand the threading better:

Just as I showed you here It's not a huge gap, just the outside threads are exposed. No big deal for some.

This is a big ViVi Nova on an eGo battery. No thread cover.

I use and like both, but it really depends on what kind of juice you're vaping. For me, dripping is best but incredibly inconvenient. For most situations, I prefer carto/tanks. However, I also enjoy a lot of NET (naturally extracted tobacco) e-liquids and heavier ones can clog up cartomizers quickly. For enjoying NETs anywhere but my living room (where I drip), I prefer clearomizers.

Comparing carto/tanks to clearomizers is also an inexact comparison. Different clearomizers have different strengths and weaknesses. For example, I use Kanger T3 and Innokin iClear 30 clearos. For the most part, I get better and more consistent performance from the Innokin clearo, but the T3 gives me more flavor, particularly with sweet e-liquids.

Ultimately, it all comes down to your personal tastes. While I generally prefer carto/tanks of clearomizers, people have different preferences and taste buds.

it's opposite for. i get better taste with a carto/tank. clearo's are ok for trying new juices. ( Tests )

I agree. I get much sharper and cleaner taste with carto rather than with clearo which I find over saturated and muted flavor at the same time. Carto is also very constant but must be tanked to get great vape.

I started with vision stardusts, moved to vivi novas, kanger protanks and mini protanks. Just recently got a liquinator carto tank and I have to say I love it. I didn't like using cartos by themselves on my egos but the carto tank allows it to get so wet with juice it provides an excellent tasty vape. I'm probably going to start switching over to carto tanks now. Both clearmizers and carto tanks are pretty hassle free.
