Hi, I have a tugboat box clone that for some reason is only pulling power from the right side of the sled. All of the wires are in place and properly soldered, and the mosfet seems to be fine. Any clue as to why this could be occuring? Thank you!
If you switch the battery placement (put the battery you usually put in the left side into the right side and vice-versa), does the problem still exist as it does now, or is the left side now drawing more power?
No, if I switch the batteries it will still pull from the right side. I can even take the left battery out and it will still fire with only one battery in, but only if it's on the right side.
It completely throws off the marriage, it's annoying as all hell. I first figured it out because only one of my batteries would be drained when I put it on the charger, I thought it was a charger issue at first.
Unfortunately I can't return it, I bought it from a friend. However it doesn't seem to be dangerous as of now, the batteries aren't venting abnormally and they don't seem to heat up at all despite consistent use. I'll probably just risk it for now until I buy something else, it's only for a week or two longer tops anyway.
