Tugboat Questions

So I have decided that for my first rda I will be getting a tugboat. I have one question however. I am a college student who his doing it all on my own so I am EXTREMELY tight with money. I've seen many clones that look decent for around $20-30, and the Authentic's are from $80-100. Is it truly a huge difference between Authentic and clone? I've heard all the arguments about authentic's vs clones, and for me, since my financial situation, it comes down to money, unless its a HUGE difference in clouds. If its the latter then I will buckle down and save for a few more months to get the Authentic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful Week everyone.

I'm not sure about the Tugboat rda but I know this Tobh 2.5 clone that I got last week is chuckin clouds. I got it for about $28 at the B&M. But since I love it so much I'm going to buy an authentic Tobh when I find a site that has them in stock. I also have a Nimbus clone and it's pretty good too. They both have good milling and seem to be well made. I'm sure they're not as good as the authentic as far as materials go. The only problem with the Nimbus is that the air holes have to be drilled out if you like a loose airflow. But I'm starting to ramble, I have RDA clones and they work really well.

I have both authentic and the tobecco clone. 101vape has the clone for $9 right now.

The authentic has larger air holes and better posts with larger post holes. The laser engravings are better. Beyond that, it's a good counterfeit. The center post of the clone is silver plated copper whereas the authentic is bare copper.

If you are somewhat handy and have access to a drill, you will enjoy the $80-90 savings buying the clone. I will add, I absolutely LOVE my naval brass authentic and don't regret spending so much on it. Without trying out the clone I probably wouldn't have bought the real one.

Alright kool thankyou for the the website ill check it out and get my hands on it!
I have had both and authentic and tobeco tugboat... don't waste your money on the authentic. My tobeco clone hit just as hard and was honestly the exact quality as the authentic. Just get the clone since $17 doesn't hurt s much as $80 for a product that does the exact same thing.

Heres the exact one I have: Tugboat by Flawless RDA Rebuildable Tobeco Clone Stainless Matte Black Copper | eBay

Kool I dont really care about that stuff at the moment but once I get some money and get the authetic then Ill care, the brass one is the one I wanted haha

What build should I do on it once I get it ? I wanna chuck clouds any suggestions?

I can only suggest dual coil but the type and ohm is all in personal taste. There are two air holes but you could do single coil if you like. I have been experimenting in the .35-.6 range. I like somewhere in between, like a .45.

To say they, the clone and authentic are machined and built the same is not really true. The naval brass authentic has a coating on the inside, the copper too. Even though it's not clear if inhaling vapor from them is bad for you or not. Also I suggest beveling your post holes on the clone, it will cut your wires. It's not hard just stick a small pen knife tip and twist it around. It's absolutely worth $9. Their normal price is $11-12.

I'm eventually going to get the copper authentic, that's how much I love them.
