I keep my Tugboat v2 builds around between .3 to .5 with basic dual micro coil setup. I used a different drip tip for better flavor. The drip tip that it came with didn't do much for me so I switch it out with longer drip tip and little bit narrower. I also closed off one of the holes for more intense flavor.

I think you can still get nice cooler but intense vape between .8 and 1.2 ohm.

Do mechs perform better at subohm resistances safely

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

IMHO, I think regulated high wattage power devices that can handle lower resistance builds are more safer (coming from a guy who owns several mechs).

With the right education in mechs (cleaning, maintenance, etc), battery safety, Ohm's law in relation to resistance, amps, volts, etc, a mech mod can be used safely. But remember with mechanic mod, you vapor production diminishes as the battery drains and with regulated device you keep constant power.

High power regulated devices are getting cheaper and cheaper where there isn't much of price difference these days. If you really want a mech, just be sure to educate yourself on points I made.

Here is good read from old forum legend Baditude on mechs/RDA (you don't have to same mech, RDAs etc).
