I want to try tumbling one of my 14500 mini doors that's anodized. How difficult would it be to remove the anodize by tumbling? I thought of doing the whole mini also, but don't want to screw anything up.
I forgot the name of the chemical. But I was considering using it to remove the anodized coating on one of my doors. The only problem is It will eat the door as well if you aren't careful.

Honestly, I would hold out and maybe pic up a Blemished from Rob then have at it. I love my Black Anodized but after polishing a TRA SL mini I will never go through having to sand down anything with paint. I just cant be bothered =) My next purchase will be a LP Mini TRA solid cause hubby wants a solid polished ><

Don't use oven clean unless your going to baby sit the door you wont like the out come if you leave it on for to long oven cleaner will eat aluminum . The easiest way is to sand it it wont take much effort

Agreed. Mine was on a blem door as more of an experiment, but you definitely have to baby sit it. Probably safer just to sand it. I ended up sanding mine anyways because I couldn't deal with seeing every single scratch. Aluminum is soft. (probably even softer after the oven cleaner bath) and I swear I could scratch it with my fingernail after it was all shined up. So I did a nice even sanding pattern on it and now it doesn't show fingerprints and I like the way it looks.
