I was going to add this review to another thread already started but felt it might get lost in the shuffle. Ben if you wish to move it please do so. I meant to do this review earlier but due to a death in a family, things have been pretty busy.
I am not new to vaping as I have been on and off for over a year now starting with a 510 but found in many instances the process of having to fill carts frequently throughout the day to be a hassle (especially while driving to and from work). I like the convince of the KR808.
I have been using the V9 turbos for almost 5 days now.
First impression is "yes" much more batting (larger liquid capacity), great vaporization (more on this subject later in post) and decent TH and a flavor not noticed before using a 510 or other mfg carts. These are all good points.
Now for the bad...
Not a lot to really note but an inconstancy of vapor production from cart to cart. I have been switching between 6 or more carts and some work marvelously with standard batts (full batt charge) and others I find can only produce a mild vapor and end up having to use higher voltage with 5-volt passthrough to get a decent vapor production, all using TV tobacco, 18 mg 25% VG mix.
Now I know these are disposable and I do vape pretty heavily so I suppose that is part of the use of disposables.
Another complaint (if you would call it that) is that after using them for a while I get liquid through the rubber soft tip.
I believe this is due to the larger amount of batting closer to the tip, some of them it seems that the cap is almost touching the batting as the soft tip sits deeper in the cart than a hard cap and do not have a protruding center were liquid would sometimes lay in the donut area in a hard cap. These carts were not overfilled and if anything were closer to dry as I only filled with 1 ml of juice and also spin them (I know they could hold more).
I have tried a cut down 510 whistle tip but were the air is drawn in, I believe it is touching the batting drawing in liquid into the tip chamber causing a gurgling in the tip thus having to take it off and blow it out occasionally. Also the whistle tip does not seem to have a good of a draw as using soft tip.
I wonder if Ben can have a removable whistle tip made for these that will manage to keep out liquid from the mouth piece - maybe with a center draw with a duel chamber or modify the the soft cap with a donut grove around the center hole?
Have not tried the 901 tip but that might be an improvement over the 510 - others may be able to comment on that.
Overall I am happy with them, much improved over other carts I have tried (includes premiums from other vendors) - even with the consistency vapor issues I noted above. I will purchase again for sure when they get back in stock...
