Alright. So I'm getting a little tired of my bakery blends from TFA. I'm on the quest for a good Turkish tobacco. I love Gamel from AVE and would like a Turkish tobacco flavor like the one used there. Any suggestions? I've heard TFA's isn't all that great, and I don't feel like paying $8.00 for a 10 ml bottle of hangsen.

I'd plan to buy a 30. I've heard hangsen is really good. I've tried dekang Turkish blend and first taste I was hooked. Now I'm looking for the same great taste in my own batches. I'm not one for strong caramel so ry4 doesn't work for me. I like the flavor of Turkish blend. It tastes almost exactly like a camel filtered to me.. Without the crap ofcourse. I'd just like to find a flavoring of Turkish blend that kicks as much as dekang Turkish blend.

I use to be like that. I switch flavors every month lol. The only Turkish blends I tried were dekang, AVE Gamel, and Casablanca. If I had to tank them best to least favorite, it'd be in that order. Casablanca was just a really mellow caramel to me and I didn't care too much for it. Gamel was delicious, and dekang a Turkish blend was just great spot on flavor and throat hit of like a real cigarette. I'm tempted to try hangsens Turkish flavoring, but I'm afraid it'll be too sweet and caramely like Casablanca. I like that rich "in your face" bold flavor dekang has.

The next time I buy Hangsen Turkish, it will be the 30 ml size! 9% Turkish and 1% EM is just too good. What a GREAT vape. ;) Hangsen is pricier than most, but when you find a good flavor, it is MORE than worth it.

If it's as bold and flavorful as dekang, I will invest. Wheres a good supplier? I looked online and a little iffy on ordering on %99.9 of the sites I've seen it on.

You won't get any caramel flavor from HS Turkish. It's close to Turkish from Dekang. Casablanca has Cocoa, perhaps that is what is turning you off. As to Gamel from AVE, I didn't care for it at all. I still have a 5ml sample from months ago which you can have ... :)

I got my Hangsen tobacco flavors from RTS Vapes.

I try all flavors at low percentages first, usually 4 to 5 percent. With the Turkish, I kept increasing until 9% which is right on for me. Seems that everyone is different with their percentages, and their flavor preferences, for that matter! :toast: -Whatever we need to do to NEVER go back to cigarettes is what needs to happen. AMEN.

I did it.. Can't believe I dropped $16 on 20ml if flavoring, but I did. I decided to try the hangsen Turkish blend off of ECX.

I wish that's all I'd spent. Man I've had 4 orders in 2 weeks time... maybe less. I should be set on flavors. Don't anyone post a new recipe, ok?

JBR3AK if you liked Dekang Turkish, then the Tobacco Express flavors at ecigexpress are rebranded Dekang for DIY. Theyre really concentrated and 2-3% is plenty. Also, both Hangsen and TE offer the camel-type Desert Ship, the latter version of this is definitely one of my all-time favorites.

Thanks! Thank you everyone for the help. I don't think I've ever had desert ship. I tend to try getting tobaccos that taste like tobacco. I'll have to try it. I've been DIY'ing for about 4 months now and love it. I can justify the price of the flavoring being that I'll most likely get about 4-6 30ml bottles
Out of it (depending on concentration). It beats the hell out of paying $8.00 for a 10ml of turkish blend dekang. I'd vape that bottle clear in a days time. I've always wanted to work with a Turkish tobacco base for awhile being it's my favorite tobacco flavor thus far. I got a good idea of a mix, but I hope I don't run them dry by then.
