New to vaping, my stuff (dse-801 startup kit), just got here yesterday and now charging batteries. I do have a passthru I tried. A little different than, in my new lingo, analogs. I have been looking toward e cigs as a way to quit smoking cigarrettes. I am 59 and started buying my own cigs at 14. I average a pack a day and then some.

Finally took the plunge after months of debating with myself, mostlly fear factor of quitting smokes. I have met many who have tried vaping but returned to analogs, didn't help with my ongoing debate and neither did the myriad of options available and limited knowledge or the lack of mentors. Next was the cost..., looked at mall prices, boo hooo hooo, pricey.

Then I found this site! Glad I did. Now I have mentors, good prices, options that are validated by other users just like me and mods to keep everything cost effective. The probablity of quitting analogs shot up x1000. Yaaaayy! Thanks to all....

Besides health reasons the financial reasons are very important to me. I want mods that are cheap, reliable and effective. That being said The Puck seems like a great mod to start off with.

However, being able to vape all day without refilling, cartos, carts, etc.. has led me to the Cruiser Puck. My question is where if at all, is the tutorial for making the Cruiser Puck? I have looked but can't seem to find it.

The Puck tutorial is great and easy to follow and I want to thank Puck for it. Also thanks to all for your help now and in the future.

Thanks,

alanselo

Found it. It is in the modding forum, battery mods, "How to make a Puck", page 13, post #128. There is tons of info. The modder, Puck, has a great philosophy on his mod and sticks to it - simple, reliable, accessible parts, and cheap. Just what the doctor ordered. I am getting the parts together now and can't wait.

The entire thread should be a must read for newbies like me. I want to quit analogs, save some money, save my health, and keep it as simple as possible so as to succeed. This is a must read before you start spending money on all the e-cig stuff out there...

Good luck to all.... and a great big pucking thanks to Puck!
