As the title implies, quick question, my TV juice is kinda thick (have the Almond Horn, very tasty)
and the carto isn't soaking up the juice. (it does, but Slowly)

Is there anything I can do to the juice to 'loosen' it up a little?
Perhaps water it down (a little) without sacrificing flavor?

TIA~Zaija

Try adding very little really high proof alcohol to it. 190 proof or so. Pure Grain Alcohol or Everclear I believe they are called, or as Geoff calls it "High Octane Alcohol".

I'm in the bible belt, no place to buy alcohol in a 60 mile radius, any other suggestions?

Thanks for the quick reply though:)

Maybe a couple of drops of distilled water would do the trick, and no it does not have to be "holy" water.

I'm using C-E2 R4 XL 510's from CoV. All my "off the rack" juice is 50/50 or greater VG. Tends to wick alittle slow. I'm in the Booze Belt of Colorado. PGA thins it nicely. I went alittle far with my cuttin, makes for a very hot vape. Now using distilled water. Things have cooled down a bit. Rather than cutting my juice any further, I use a two Riva's system. Charge up two cartos, connect one each to two Riva's. Vape one until I detect a change, then switch to the other. Provides a dwell period for the wick to catch up. Works well for me.

Cheers,

Maybe you need to consider the density of the filler inside the carto. I would try to lift out the filler a little with some tweezers and then cut off a little bit. Then push it back down to about the original level and the filler won't be as dense. You may get some problems with slight leakage but if you are vaping fast enough to worry about the time that the juice initially takes to absorb then you can probably outrun the runoff by sucking it up back into the cartridge and giving it a chance to reabsorb from the bottom. Give it a shot.. Cartos are a dime a dozen so if it doesn't work that well for you then pop open a new one and wait out the process.

You also might want to try poking a long needle all the way down into the filler (all the way around the carto.)

Be careful if you do this cuz I pushed my needle down too far and it pushed the little washer down and plugged the air holes at the bottom.

nother noob question, Taryn Spin?

I keep searching and all I can pull out of it is spinning in a sock? lol

hahah! that is an awesome description. i had to search for the explanation of that too.

yes, you can put your PV in a sock and spin it, but i'd recommend a plastic bag. ideally a 12" long, 1" wide plastic bag.

a long tube-shaped bag like i just described would allow you to put your e-cig in the bag, standing upright. you'd then twirl the bag in circles, so that centrifugal force makes the juice penetrate the filler. similar to shaking a pen to get the ink down to the tip when you're running out.

you may find a video if you search youtoob. that's where i saw it demonstrated. take a look so you can see how hard to spin it from someone with experience. almost everything e-cig related has a video or two from generous vapers who want to share their knowledge. good luck!
