Hey guys so just got my new SD from TW and just reading the TW leaflet that came with the package and the 1st thing i saw was:

ADVICE
- Very Toxic by inhalation

Well, i wasnt very confident in inhaling after that! lol have i read this wrong? Or should i refrain from 'inhaling into my lungs' with this stuff?!

I have been vaping since friday on an E-Lite purchased from my local shopping centre and loved it, so upgraded as i was enjoying vaping, but this is a little worrying! Just need some advice really! :)

Many thanks
Eddy

Nicotine is a toxin.

It's more of a sort of disclaimer though, as in the vendor puts the warning on the label so if someone drinks it all, they had a warning on the bottle.

You also can't inhale excessive amounts of nicotine. How much you can have is based on the strength of the liquid (usually around 24mg for 'high' and down to 6mg for 'low') and your tolerance to it and how big you are.

Think of it like a pack of cigarettes. There are warnings on how they can give you cancer, make you infertile, cause erectile dysfunction, cause tumours etc etc. The exact same is on the bottles of eliquid because nicotine is a toxin BUT compared to cigarettes which also contain nicotine, you only get the nicotine and not a ton of other chemicals that are so much worse for you.

In short, vape in moderation, regulate yourself by listening to your body like when you smoked (I assume you did) and it'll be cool :)

Hey leftfield thanks for the reply, that makes sense now :) i was just thinking 'is it toxic by inhilation?!' that didnt make sense, since as far as i am aware that is the whole point of vaping?! lol

As a smoker, i used to smoke 40 analogs a day, so quite a heavy smoker, and ive done that for the last 4 years (i have smoked since i was 11 and i am now 28) so i know the signs of smoking too much, i have 24mg eliquid which came with the SD so i guess its a bit of trial and error today, i will take it slowly though thats for sure! :)

Just wanted to make sure i wasnt going to keel over on my first vape! lol

Thanks again (will keep you posted on the progress and a bit of a 1st timers review!)

Many thanks
Eddy

It is just a precautionary message. It is important when you start vaping to change your inhalation method. Instead of inhaling directly into your lungs like a cigarette, it's best to draw a puff into your mouth, then inhale. That keeps it from burning a bit in your throat. As far as liquid goes, TW has some of the very best and more varieties than anybody. Enjoy your new toy!

I thought the exact same thing when I started vaping and saw the TW bottles

Toxic by inhalation? But... I'm gonna inhale this

24mg is pretty high but everyone takes to it differently. I used to smoke 20+ rollies a day but I can only take around 8mg. I have seen some people who vape 42mg and I wonder how on earth they manage it lol

Good luck!

I started at 24mg as I thought stronger would be the best way to offset cravings, and it worked. Three quick puffs and I could get a bit lightheaded and didn't think about smoking. I dropped to 16mg after a few months but I still need that level to keep the edge off.

Oh well, just a little more stimulant! Like having an extra cup of coffee.
