Those Totally wicked ones are cheap nickel coated steel (like the ones from Heavens gifts). They are not stainless steel. They use the same coating they use on junk jewelry and cheap watches that wears off in a short time. Not something you want to be sucking on. They also appear to be a rip off of my old non- widemouth design, so they are already out-dated.

Super T's are medical grade stainless steel or anodized aluminum and all feature the new "widemouth" design.

I'm looking into getting the t-tip patented. The machine shop I contract to have them made thought i have a legitimate chance of getting them patented and you have a year from release to do it. There's no guarantee a patent will be granted, but it's certainly worth pursuing.

Not to mention that Super-T has stood behind his design. I have bought about 10 of these in different styles and color. When the wide mouth design came out I got some of these and then shipped my other style T-Tips to get re drilled to the new design. David did a great job. Not only did he re drill them but he also put a like new finish and shine on them.

Thanks Super T!!!!!!!

do you guys have any idea what it costs to patent something or how long for that matter.....

Also patents dont matter at all to china.....
so ultimately its not the most feasible thing to do

Yes, i am aware of the costs and time. No, it won't stop China, but China's knockoffs of most all products are made of inferior metals and cheap coatings. This is a personal decision anyway that has it's pro's and con's that i am well aware of.

Yes, patent the T-Tips. You should be compensated for innovation, not ripped off.

More importantly, enter the original Precise in a good product design competition. If it wins something, it's good for business and embarrassing for those wishing to ban these products.

I will be applying for a patent for the Precise too. Again, there is no guarantee the patent will be granted, however, i believe it is worthy to pursue because there is also a fair chance it will be granted given this technology is in it's infancy.
