I own two Twists but do not own a Spinner. The biggest visual upgrade to the Spinner is the easy to read voltage settings on the Spinner. At almost 40 years old, I have a hard time making out my voltage on the Twist. The Spinner seems to have a much more user friendly way to see what voltage you are at.

I would assume there are some internal upgrades as well in the Spinner. For my two pence, after I get my ProVari ordered for Christmas I plan to invest in a couple of Spinners as backups rather than more Twists.

I agree, that Spinner has more readable voltage settings. Clear advantage. Spinner is little bit bigger than Twist, but they come as 900mah and 1300mah, when Twist's are 650mah and 1000mah. So more lasting battery life. My choice would be steel version of 900mah Spinner or couple of them. 650mah Twist's battery life is too short, and bigger Twist or Spinner.... well, they are too big! :)

Here's size comparison:

The Spinner is shorter but thicker than the Twist. I actually prefer the thickness of the Spinner as it "feels" better in my hands.

The spin plate on the Twist has better digit markings but it's harder to see due to it being on the spin plate itself. The digits on the Spinner are located on the body of the tube but the markings are rather odd. Not a big deal, you'll just have to "guess" your voltages in between markings. Most people change to taste anyways.

I have 2 problems with mine: I over tightened a few times to many and need an adapter for the heads that I have and the gun metal finish is wearing off big time; other than that works great, I use it in short mode.

So don't over tighten and don't get gun metal, if you do get gun metal don't spill juice on it, I think that is what caused the finish to start coming off.

Well...too late on the gun metal. That's what I ordered. It's OK though. I knew the finish wouldn't last based on the 500 zillion posts I've read on it. :) I plan on wrapping it in the carbon fiber someone mentioned in another thread. Even had a template and for around $8 what the heck. Thanks for the over tightening tip though. Glad ya told me as I tend to be heavy handed with stuff like that. I'll be careful.

Oooh, I like carbon fiber, might have to get some of that.

I tried pulling up the connector and that worked for a bit, but I think I over tightened again and it went down.

I just found out there's a vendor called "Vapor Skinz". They have skins for a bunch of the popular mods already precut and ready to apply. A bit pricey though if ya ask me. Around $18 for the carbon fiber for the Vamo. Eh. We'll see how long my gun metal finish lasts and how bad it looks then. I just can't wait to get the darn thing! Ha.
