I have used a few flashlights that have a "dimmer" tail cap

click on off, twist to dim/brighten

the adjustment should be voltage driven so if anyone wants to put one of these on a tube and let us know how it does :) that would be great plus the one model i used was cr123a so its close in size

i know u can get just the tailcap, go crazy modders

(ill post a link when i find it)

You talking about THESE?

little pricey. Resistor to drop down from over 6v seems a lot cheaper

thats one of em, the nice thing is you can go the entire range of voltages not just a preset one like resistor
say going from 3-6v with a 2 second adjustment sounds good to me

You can do it with a voltage regulator, a pot and a few resistors for far less money. It also doesn't limit you to specific bodies.
