The first time I sampled this juice at my local vape store I fell absolutely head over heels in love with it. I couldn't leave without buying a bottle to take home. I've been vaping it daily for a couple of weeks now, and something strange has happened--it doesn't taste like coffee anymore, and all I can taste is the peppermint and some weird "off" flavor. The juice in the bottle still smells like coffee, but all I can really taste is the mint. I find this odd, because at first, both at the store and when I started off this bottle, I could hardly taste the peppermint. I bought it specifically because the coffee flavor was the best I ever tried, and now it doesn't taste like coffee anymore! What happened? I thought maybe it was my carto, so I switched to a brand new carto. Still no coffee flavor. So, I put some in my 510 with a tank atty--tasted even worse. Did it "go bad" on me? Has anyone else had a similar situation? I'm now at the end of the bottle I bought, but am not keen on buying another bottle if it won't taste the way I first experienced it...

i think if twisted java steeps, the mint overpowers the coffee....same happened to me. thats why i dont like it. it reminds me of everything that has left me in my life: my ex-gf's, my dogs, my parents, my goldfish....i have enough painful reminders!

Sounds like a new Grammy winning country song is in the makings there wheezal! :thumb:

Going to fire up my 8 week old Twisted Java this evening...

Just curious, you mentioned you've been vaping it daily for a couple of weeks..are you vaping any other flavors with it? Have you tried any other flavors lately and those taste off too? If so, you could be "developing" vapors tongue. Basically what happens is your taste buds for vape flavors "turn off" for a bit. I've had it twice and it sucks.

Be sure to switch up flavors daily and I recommend even a non flavored, like Halo's Fusion, in your daily rotation to give ur taste buds a break. Also, I find if I go ape for a while on one flavor, it starts to taste muted. I have at any given time 8-10 tanks loaded (give or take) and usually rotate 5-6 daily including Fusion.

And always shake the bottle very well before topping off or filling a tank.

I used the gourmet flavors in my mini tanks and although very good, I couldn't get the taste out after cleaning so I tossed all 3 mini's.

Unfortunately, I just recently learned about the denture cleaning method just last week which worked perfectly. If only I knew then what I know now.

I may have to put some in a Triton and give it a spin.

I don't know why but I just don't like the mini tanks at all. I always get a weird taste that borderlines burnt. So I never use them anymore. I gave my friend 5-6 of my last new ones.

That only thing that's bad about that is if I want to testa new flavor, I now have to fill a normal tank...such a waste sometimes.
