I just got my Kanger T2 in a few nights ago. I came home from work and there it finally was in my mailbox after taking a week to travel just 500 miles through the USPS system. By the way, thats the least of the problems I've had with USPS in the last month. They lost 2 other packages, as I returned 2 expensive Li Ion batteries to Ga, and they got lost, then just a week later, another package got lost inbound! Both were eventually found, but only because I quickly filed missing package reports with multiple departments. Had I not done that, the Li Ion batteries would likely never have been found, as they had carelessly ripped the entire label off the box after it left a sorting facility in Ga, and although it had a separate tag with bar code for delivery confirmation, they amazingly dont link that bar code to any records listing the sender, receiver, addresses, etc!! But it finally resurfaced before being sent to their lost mail center, and a good employee here at my post office happened to see that it's bar code had been scanned, and she called me, then I called that Post office and got it back.
Anyway, way off track there^, but let it be a lesson for when a package seems to disappear, make sure you file a lost mail report with the national USPS 1-800 number, AND contact your local post office, AND contact the post office where its supposed to be finally delivered from.

Now to the subject at hand: When I first got the Kanger T2 and screwed it onto my standard 650mah Ego-T battery, I immediately loved how well it gave very good hits without having to suck on it for 6-10 seconds every time! It came with the 1.8ohm carto, but I also ordered 2.2ohm replacements, and I've tried one and its OK, but the 1.8ohm is perfect for the Ego battery. At this point I cant even see any need for a variable voltage battery to be honest, as I get great hits with this setup!
But.... One thing I was initially disappointed with was that the flavor seemed muted in the T2. The throat hit, vapor were great, but the flavor notes seemed to be muted for some reason. After breaking it in over the next 1/2 day, it did seem to improve, then I figured out what I believe to be the cause and solution to this issue.
I had read that with the Vision Stardust, CE4, V3, whatever you want to call it, it wicks best if you are on the move or if you move it around. But if you, and it, are just sitting still it doesnt feed liquid into the carto as well. Also, I watched a youtube video where it was mentioned that laying it sideways was best to allow the liquid to properly wick into the carto. But in that video, the guy was actually using a long wick clearo which was more than 1/2 full of liquid, so I didnt understand why keeping it sideways would be needed.
My Kanger T2 has the short wicks, so it makes sense that if the e-liquid level is below the wick level, you need to either refill it or turn it sideways to make sure more liquid makes it into the carto. But even when the liquid level is touching the wicks, I have noticed that if I vape it sideways, and if I twist it right before or during vaping, I will clearly get better flavor! My DIY tobacco liquid has a slight sweetness to it from the honey-flue cured flavor I added, and when I turn the Ego sideways and twist it while vaping, I immediately get more sweetness! If I dont do that, the flavor is often lacking in the honey flue cured taste. Its not that the carto becomes empty and I start getting a burnt flavor, its just that by twisting it you immediately seem to refresh the carto and you get a more complete flavor profile of whatever you are vaping. Without doing it the flavor is kinda dull and muted.... I am actually amazed at how quickly liquid is able to travel through the wick into the carto. It seems like an almost instant improvement!
The idea is to vape it while holding it sideways and twist it around while doing so.
I have now ordered a backup T2($5.49) and some inexpensive 1.8ohm cartos(5 for $6.99). I dont see any reason that I even need my Torpedo VV any more since I got the T2......
