Two different 510 pcc's

Hello, I ordered two 510 pcc's thinking they would be the same. From the outside they look almost identical. I got two. One purple, one black.

The purple one has a longer slot for an atomizer, has three LED's on the front and the battery slides on smoothly and is ejected when the button is pressed. Also the manual button lines up to the left when you slide it in.

the black one has three slots that are the same (though I can fit an atomizer in but without the cart. The battery seems to need to be pushed down and doesn't pop up when the case is opened, you have to pull it out. It only has two lights on the front. And the manual button lines up in the back.

Again they look identical.

Does anyone know if these are the same brand (no brand listed - but the instructions both look the same and whoever wrote them has absolutely no idea how to write in English)?

Is one a newer model? If so which is newer? Which version seems to be better?

Where did you get them from? I have a few 510 PCCs but none of mine have a button release for the battery. Were they both from the same seller?

purple was from cignot, the black was from strictlyejuice. The picture on the strictly site clearly shows the picture of the three LED model. No response from them as of yet.

Probably different manufacturers then. Cignot sells Joye stuff, strictly probably uses someone else like JSB or SLB. If you google e-cigs you'll find a site called alibaba. They are a manufacturers connection source. You punch in 510 in the search and you'll see dozens of chinese manufacturers that say they sell Joye stuff but they're not. Joye does it too. Pretty much everything manufactured in china is copied from another chinese manufacturer. Copyright and patent laws over there are mostly a joke.

The directions for both units are "exactly" the same. The color, the wording, the markings, everything. which makes me think they are both the same brand. I'm not sure about China, but I know here you cannot exactly replicate a product like that legally.

Anyway I really have no issue with it except the charging time on it. After a few google searches however it looks like charging times seem to run a huge gamete between 30 and 180 minutes. Wow, what a consistent product. lol
