Two different types of basic cartomizers.

I'm not talking about 'dual coil' or clear or anything else like that. I'm talking about the inside of the basic cartomizers. I have noticed that I have two different types. Maybe there are more different ones but I've only seen two. I wish I could get a picture on here but I think I can explain it well enough that the more experienced vapers will know what I am talking about.

When you take the top off the mouth end when you are going to fill it and look inside. You see the filling with a little tub sticking out of it.
1. The one type that is all you see.
2. On the other type you see what looks like a little stem coming out of the tub and it turns down into the filling.

My experience has been that the ones with the stems sticking out don't work nearly as well as the ones without it. I mean it is so drastic a difference that I'm wondering why anyone even makes the ones with the stems.

Now I haven't tried that many brands yet. So I'm wondering if this is just the case on the brands I've tried or is this the way it is on any brand. The ones without the stem sticking out is all I will buy at this point because it just works SO SO MUCH BETTER!

What PV do you use? And what cartos have you tried that your referring to?

The Ressurector cartos have the "stem" your referring to and are probably the best cartos I've ever used

Do you mean a little tube down the middle? Like a TP roll on the center of the fluff?
I have 510 Boges and they look like layers of stuffing wrapped around a center roll.
