So I have this little part time job that I work only one shift a week. It's from 5am til 9:30am every Thursday. On these days, the Hubby takes me to an early breakfast at IHOP before my shift. We are almost always the ONLY customers in the place. We always have the same server. A SUPER cool guy named Tim.
At first, I thought his interest in my pv was him just being polite and making friendly chit chat. He said he had been thinking about giving one a try to get off the smokes but the start up cost was making him hesitate. So I start thinkin, "Hmmmm. I have several 78mm Volts, chargers, blank cartos, and some juices I don't use any more.....I could do some pay it forward."
Then the Hubby, or the "Nay-Sayer" as I like to call him sometimes, says to me, "Ya know.....he may have just said all that to be nice. It is part of his job to be nice to make more tips." And since I was a bartender/cocktail waitress back in the day, I agreed this was a possibility. I figured the next Thursday I would just flat out ask him if he was truly interested in trying ecigs and offer him some equipment.
So Thursday morning comes and almost the first thing Tim says to me is, "Hey! I got one!" and pulls an ecig out of his apron pocket! It's a convenience store cig a like, but it's proof enough for me that all his interest was certainly NOT "smoke up my ..." (pun intended) lol
Turns out that not only is he very serious about quitting smoking, but also his 19 yr old son.
I'm really looking forward to breakfast this Thursday. I have 5 batts - 2 manual and 3 auto - 2 chargers, about 10 never used blank cartos, a 15ml bottle of an 18mg tobacco, a 15ml of 18mg menthol, and I ordered a couple 5 packs of prefilled cartos that just arrived today.
I think I may need to get up a little earlier so there is time to explain it all to him and still have my breakfast before work!
