3bet...yes, they are called drip tips, but more often they are simply mouthpieces. You can drip through them if you're using an atomizer, but you might get some juice on the interior of the tip and it might end up in your mouth. Yecch. As far as a Protank or mini Protank, they are pretty much plug and play. The latest versions of both these tanks have removable drip tips so you can intall your own favorites. There are beaucoup other tanks and devices out there but the Protanks are easy and reliable. Change the coils whenever you need to and you're in good shape. Have fun, experiment, and vape on!

1: Do drip tips change the way a PV hits or are they only for dripping?
2: I was thinking of picking up a Protank 2 or maybe the mini; ( I've never owned a PV, so please bear with me if this is a stupid question )
If I get a Protank 2 will I ever have to buy anything for it other than coils or maybe a drip tip?

Hi 3bet nice to have you at ECF

two fine choices, you might want both ;) (compared)
-glass tanks
-use same style replaceable coils
-both disassemble
-mini holds 1.5 ml fluid
-big one holds 2.5 ml fluid
-mini has big eGo threads
-big has smaller 510 threads
--both pretty much Gas-n-Go trouble free

drip tips are basically just mouthpieces, but design can have an effect on vapor draw
(can you imagine drinking a wendys frosty with a mcd straw)

1- A longer drip tip can cool off the vapor a lot more than a smaller one. Some can have a smaller hole than the air hole through the atomizer, which will promote a tighter draw. I personally like knuckle head drip tips. I like biting on them and looking like I'm in deep thought with my drip tip in my mouth staring into space.

2- Protank2 drip tip is removable, so you can do what you want with it.

Protank is ok, glass, easy to replace coil head, PT 2 is the best option of all 3 imo, If I was starting over, I'd probably go with the Aspire Vivi Nova BDC tank, hear it is putting the PT to shame, ~$10. I have found that Drip tips can make a difference in Vape. If you have an rba that is putting out some heavy vape, then the diameter of the hole comes into play. To small of hole in drip tip can restrict the amount of vape flow that is delivered. Never really noticed this till I went rba's then bought some inexpensive clones of the rba I prefer, and notice the hole was smaller. Drilled it out and vapping better now. So yes and no, lol. Just my preferences after all. Had to drill out the air intake too, but that's another story.

Vape long and Prosper.
