I get a lot of my juice from Gourmet Vapor. They have a lot of different tobacco "flavors", so you might want to check there. (While they're not an ECF registered supplier, they have been reliable and fast, in my experience.) I'm sure you'll get lots of other recommendations as well.

The resistance of the coil will determine how high a voltage you use to get the vape you like. Higher value resistance requires higher voltage to get the same watts of power. Lower values heat up quicker, and may produce a warmer feel to the vapor, and vice versa.

Shaking a clearo / vivi isn't needed, although rolling it may be, when the liquid gets low. Hold the entire device at a shallow angle, almost parallel to the floor, and just roll the battery back and forth in your fingers to make sure the wicks are wet. Some top coil devices may still use short wicks, and this rolling is especially important with them. The Vivis and most of the newer "stardust" styles have longer wicks, so its less of an issue.

A general rule of thumb is that each 100ma of battery is very roughly equal to 1 hour of vaping. Of course, all our styles vary, so take this with a big grain of salt! So your 650s may give about 6 1/5 hours of vaping. But best for the long term life of the battery if you recharge before it's dead.

And try here to see if there is a shop close to you. While it may not be totally complete, it's a good starting point.

Actually, going to 2.8 (or slightly higher) will need a higher voltage for the same watts, but because of that, the current is lower, so that should make the battery run longer between charges.

Sounds pretty counter-intuitive, but lower current draw on the battery is the key. The electronics in the particular battery will also have some impact, but if you're considering the entire system - battery, electronics, coil - lower current (higher voltage) should last longer.

Of course, you don't want to go so high on resistance that your battery can't deliver a high enough voltage!

Conversely, get a big enough battery to last the day (or more) and just swap them out daily. :2c:

Ok so I have to thank everyone here in this thread and another I had who recommended getting this model.

I got it yesterday and been vaping, and so far battery still not dead. Granted I am not chain vaping. I am doing on average 5-8 vapes everytime I feel the urge to have a cigarette.

I might have vaped then about 120 times, just rough estimate, and battery still seems to be strong, and I still have about 1 mil juice left in the mini nova.

How do you know when battery dies? does it start blinking another color, or just no more vapor comes out?

Also I did order some juice called Apache from mountainoak, I am hoping it close to real tobacco, this vanilla that MVS they sent me is just way too sweet

Not sure about the Twist, as I have Spinners of that type, but they blink rapidly a few times when dead, instead of the steady light when actually firing, and yep, no vape.

Part of the fun is getting used to your hardware. Over time, you'll get to the point that you'll have a rough idea based on ml consumed about your battery state. Have a backup with you.

Have backups of everything. Of course, you started with a two battery kit, but still have only one charger. They can fail. Something to keep in mind for the next time you place an order.

Try Parkes Vaping for tons of tobacco flavors. They have sample packs that are pretty cheap.
What type of tobacco flavor are you looking for? Pipe, cigar, analog cig?

I like their Ashtray flavor for being as close to a burning cig as your gonna get.
I use unflavored nic liquid & mix it with various tobacco flavors.
Also the Wyatt Earp & Dark Vapure are pretty good. The owner is very helpful & vapes tobacco flavors herself so that is probably why they offer so many. There are reviews on many of them. It's the ones with the little doggy looking footprints that have reviews.

Then there is Aroma e liquids, they have a great analog flavor called GI Joe or something like that. It's probably my favorite from them.
I don't like sweet, perfumy, cigar or pipe type flavors. I am one of the weird ones always looking for that elusive straight up analog taste.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Right now I'm vaping a 50/50 pg-vg unflavored nic juice at 24mg, mixed with GI Joe & swear I found that analog flavor almost exactly.
That's a bonus cause the nic liquid is so much cheaper than pre-mixed flavored juice. So I can stretch a bottle of it big time.
Most tobacco flavors are too sweet for me. Or, I will vape completely different flavors, like coffee & beverage types.

No hard and fast "rule" on when to refill. Some clearo devices will tend to leak a little when they get low, so if that's happening, top it off. Otherwise, use it until you get to where you need to "twirl" it to rewet the wicks.

Thanks if it gets too low will it kill the atomizer?

I guess I am afraid of killing it.

Also myvaporstore sent me cinnabun ejuice as a sample, but i heard you cant use that in the plastic mini nova is that really true? Will it burn right through the plastic? I don't want to be inhaling plastic.

Thanks!

Ok I refilled it today, for some reason after I refilled my mini nova, it started to leak on the bottom, really strange. I think I might have unscrewed the base by accident when unscrewing the top to refill not sure, I tightened up and seems to be ok. Hopefully that all it was, since I plan on putting this in my pocket and don't want it to leak all over.

I did not realize I could use the blu cartridges with the ego-c. My wife likes those becuase she don't have to deal with refilling, but hates the batteries of blu. I screwed it and and she was impressed it worked. She is going to order a battery herself to use with her blu cartridges.

I also noticed a huge difference between vapor of blu and the mini nova. I got not throat hit at all from the blu, compared to the mini nova huge difference, so glad I did not start with that blu

Yes, it's quite possible to partly unscrew the bottom when taking it apart to fill. If this was your first "accident", then congratulations, you're no longer a virgin, and now an official vaper.

You might want to consider something like a padded Altoids tin (folded tissue is fine for padding), as insurance against leaks, and to help keep the device clean. Pocket lint in the drip tip or the air intake is no fun.

Guess I misunderstood! Thought you were carrying it as a spare, full clearo

No, won't fit if assembled. The mini by itself will - in fact, just checked and a full size will fit nicely. Don't have a 650 Twist, so don't know about that...

But, assembled and upright in your shirt pocket should be just fine. That's how I usually carry my vape, although not on a 650.
