Hi everyone,

So I have a Vivi Nova and it's been working pretty well, until recently. Things were starting to taste burny, so I checked it out and the coil in my 2.4 ohm head has essentially fused together, in that it's no longer a coil anymore, just a mass of metal. It still works and all that but I was wondering if this was normal? I was using it at 4.3 V with a 70/30 juice. I admit I wasn't cleaning it as often as I probably should but that still doesn't explain (to me) why it looks like that. This is my second 2.4 head that's done this. I have the 1.8 ohm head on now (at 3.5 V) and it seems fine but I'm going to keep checking on it. I'll also be cleaning it more often.

But yeah, basically, is it normal for the coil to fuse together and if not, any guesses as to why it's happening?

My second question is fairly simple. I haven't used an atomizer in some time but I've been looking to get one again. What are some good, fairly inexpensive (510) atomizers? I'm not looking for anything fancy or rebuildable, just looking for a nice dripping atomizer so I can change things up every once-and-a-while.

Thanks!

The coil probably isn't fused but just gunked up so it looks that way. There's not enough power there to weld. After you dry burn you can lightly brush the coils with the end of a toothpick to get the oxidized juice off. Just don't move the coils around. If two coils are touching you can separate them with the point of a needle so they are all equidistant.

Thanks. I'll give this a try next time I clean everything.
