Somewhere out there...
Guys dont mind me asking a newbish question.... i really do apologize in advance if this offends any of you. I really deserve a tray full of rotten eggs thrown at me for my low ignorance.

Can anyone advice me or point me to a good information database regarding wattage for subohms.

Im using an ipvd2 and bellus. I set it to 8w running on a 0.46ohm 26 awg kanthal and find it wierdly comfortable. Noticed that many vapers are vaping higher wattage >20.

I scared to up more than 15 la sial.. later explode in my face need donation for plastic surgery and kenna reported in straightimes or tnp how. Pls teach me before i do anything stupid.

Ps: if i do not reply means i tried something i am not supposed to and suffered my ill fate of not being able to source answers for my questions.

Sorry to be a PITA. :(
Bro.. For ipvd2 there are some issues with the wattage.. It can't step down.. That's why when u vape at 7W, it's like the same as u vape at 20W.. A way around this is to use tc mode even for kanthal.. Just set up everything like you would and set temp and lock resistance..

@ carnation Make sure your batt can take the high drainage.. then u can definately go higher or not a lot of us need plastic surgery liao...
Btw.. if u look like your profile pic keep your mod away from your chest.. if explode at that area.. more wasted. My 2 cents.

Again..my kaki from Sawadee can settle that tooo

Yup.. Tc is normally used for Nic or ti wires coz the resistance fluctuates a lot.. That's why u lock resistance and set the temp so it doesn't go beyond that. But you can use tc for kanthal as well.. No issues.. Only that it will fire slow and not as fast as ti or Nic..

I think there was a new revision with a 'fixed' stepdown right?
Mine at 7 watts voltage goes to 1.8v
And clouds like non existent haha
Not too sure if there was a new revision bro.. But when I checked around, there isn't any and ipvd2 doesn't have firmware upgrade like ipv3li, xcube2.. The only input to the mod is via the pin charger. So how to update?
