With dessert juices you hafta accept a certain degree of harshness mainly because they lack a soothing agent; menthol. Also the nature of these juices' ingredients contribute to the increased throat hit. (Creamy, cake stuff)

However the degree of harshness can be mitigated by the setup you use to vape them. Drippers tend to be the best due to their direct nature, coil/wick straight up. Also the fact that the more you vape the more juice is vaporized from the wick without getting replenished, thus giving you a certain 'sweet spot'. Results may vary tho.
Tanks like the subtank mini really hit you in the face. Flavour's there, but my God so is the hit. And you have a throat made out of sandpaper before long. Not sure why, but probably the nature of the RBA/OCC design. Or maybe we Asians are too mollycoddled with fruity Northern juices. Lelz.

The best of both worlds? RTAs such as the Billow, Goblin, Bellus, Kayfun and so on. The feels/taste of a dripper but the convenience of a tank. Personally with the Bellus, dessert juices have their harshness reduced by a significant margin, and I'm actually enjoying the vape to the point of happily chain-vaping the Octobrew apple crumble. (It does make you buzzed pretty quick, and i am on the 6mg.)

This is all my opinion hor, i may be flat wrong, and it's all based on your own experience. This is how I feeEEeeEel~~~~~

@Jov now THIS is the league of big boys my friend. We are all small fries compared to such sophisticated craftsmanship and technology.

Oh and to add on.. my setup's pretty standard. Basically everything you see in @cloudysheep 's tut, 24 ga kanthal dual coil, 7 wraps each, 0.34 ohms at 42W. Bliss.
Thanks bro for the detailed explanation.. Really helps to understand more about vaping with certain flavours.. I've got the velocity though but have not tried vaping pastries flavours off that.. Maybe I should try it or even better try on my new bellus with the setup u mentioned.. Previously tried on the crown and the billow v2 but on 20-22W.. Got bad throat hits.. Didn't try to go higher though.. Maybe it does better on warmer vapes.. Appreciate the help bro.. [emoji6]
