Moved to Rebuildable Atomizer Systems - RTA from Tanks

Tanks
A forum for general discussion of carto tanks.
Opps, tanks for the relocation.

I'd like to know, too. I thought my Goblins would have RDA-style airflow, but mine are more restricted.

I want airflow that's as easy as breathing.
Ya, not expecting mutation x style airflow bur more say freakshow style airflow. I'm not sure what the limit of pressure is till u start getting poor vacuum pressure/airy dry hits lol.

I own all 3 of UD's RTAs. The Goblin has a more forgiving build deck that is slightly larger than the Zephyrus. The Goliath is the mid card of the 2 tanks, the only thing it has going for it is the huge juice wells for the wicking which allows you to work with 100%vg juices but the air flow is smaller than the other 2 tanks. Wicking the Zephyrus is the same as the Goblin so you cannot really chain vape anything above 80% vg juices (unless you use less wick but you will leak).

Coil build is the main difference, the Goblin can get away with 2.5mm core 26 ga micro coil. The zephyrus can only do 2mm with 26 ga. But because of the massive air, it is better to run a dual coil, parallel strand 28 or tri strand 30 to maximize flavour and vapour production all at 2mm core diameter, with that size you can easily do 6.5 volts without any problem. If you are comfortable with nano coils you can run a 34/36 over 30 claptons and get some major flavour but you have to use a pancake wick method and it's pretty hard to get it done right so it doesn't leak.

Filling these tanks is where the Zephyrus really holds its own. The Goblin uses a single bottom screw so you basically will leak juice out of the chimney with standard drip bottles, unless you use a syringe and a very slow fill rate. Goliath uses 2 opening to fix the issue, but you must remove the tank from your mod and unscrew the build deck to fill it, so you have a chance of ruining your coil/wick job and juicing you fingers. The Zephyrus uses a screw top with a special plus gasket, if there is any juice spilled it will go down the chimney into the wick so it has the least amount of mess compared to other top fills out there.

Overall the Zephyrus is an the best evolved tank from UD and totally worth the time/investment. As for the coils, never used them so that area I have no idea, but they seem they might work pretty well looking at the huge juice holes they have.
