Finally, the paperwork that comes in the box and the little bag of extra gaskets and seals and whatnot, and with that I will stop posting pics. :D

but knowing me...I will be building in the first couple of days anyways...cause, I can't leave good alone, and gotta tinker :p
and THAT'S what I am counting on, lol! :D You are going to love the SS ceramic coil, though. I am actually curious about the dual coil kanthal hybrid, so I will probably end up testing it out in a few days.

Do we know how much the replacement ceramic coils are going to cost? I stopped buying factory coils because of the short lifespan of the cotton wicks. I would think that since these have no cotton, they would last a LONG time. Any thoughts on this?
I know that the cCells definitely last a lot longer than the cotton coils, so I expect these to last a good long while as well. Since there is no cotton at all, it is very possible that they will clean up even better than the cCells and last even longer. It's going to be a while before I can report back on that, though. I am only on my 4th tank so far. The capacity on this thing is great!

sadly the mod that I was using to test this out on died....So I had to swap it over to another mod, that is just a tad under powered for this tank. This may prompt me to pull out and save the ceramic coil for later, and build the RBA section :p
Oh no! I am sorry for your loss. :( I am pretty curious to hear your thoughts on the RBA, but the ceramic coil is amazing, so I haz a sad for you.

Well...I built up the RBA head. Learned it has one Achilles heel.....

made up some clapton wire, but learned that no matter how small I made the ID...it just would not fit in the rba head without touching the side wall, so I had to scrap that idea and go with a regular macro coil.

On the plus side, it does more for flavor on a regular macro then you would expect...on par with the ceramic coil that it comes with, so I guess I can live without my claptons for this tank :p

Good to know! Is this a SS macro coil you built?

yes, 24 gauge SS 304 to be exact
Awesome. I figured it was stainless but I just wanted to be sure. :) I am still marveling at how much I love the SS ceramic coil in TC! Until I got this tank and coil I was pretty sure TC was never going to be an option for me. Everything I tried gave me a ramp-up time and I HATE that. This one really was just plug and play for me on the iStick 100w TC. I'm hooked!

New UD RTA with ceramic coils! This one comes with both a kanthal and a stainless steel coil as well as the RBA section. I found it here UD Simba RTA Tank - 4.5ml on pre-order.

Thanks for this thread! I thought they meant ceramic fiber wick! This is Super Interesting! I'm new to this, but I sure want to try a ceramic coil.

Nope, not ceramic fiber. These coils appear to be baked (sintered) like the Vaporesso cCell and are extremely durable. The flavor and vapor from them is outstanding, and they last a lot longer than a cotton coil does. There is zero spitback from them. No popping, no crackling, just a nice, clean tasty hit! I love them. :)
