Ha! I'll be happy if you post pictures of builds, lol! I am not swapping this coil out unless I absolutely have to. It's incredible.nice run of pictures.
That will save me from having to take any when I get mine![]()
and THAT'S what I am counting on, lol!but knowing me...I will be building in the first couple of days anyways...cause, I can't leave good alone, and gotta tinker![]()
Yay! I am excited to hear your thoughts. I am still really loving this tank.Simba has arrived!
Not going to give any thoughts or feed back/review until I give it a good run, but I am liking the design of the top fill and juice flow control.
I know that the cCells definitely last a lot longer than the cotton coils, so I expect these to last a good long while as well. Since there is no cotton at all, it is very possible that they will clean up even better than the cCells and last even longer. It's going to be a while before I can report back on that, though. I am only on my 4th tank so far. The capacity on this thing is great!Do we know how much the replacement ceramic coils are going to cost? I stopped buying factory coils because of the short lifespan of the cotton wicks. I would think that since these have no cotton, they would last a LONG time. Any thoughts on this?
Oh no! I am sorry for your loss.sadly the mod that I was using to test this out on died....So I had to swap it over to another mod, that is just a tad under powered for this tank. This may prompt me to pull out and save the ceramic coil for later, and build the RBA section![]()
Well...I built up the RBA head. Learned it has one Achilles heel.....
made up some clapton wire, but learned that no matter how small I made the ID...it just would not fit in the rba head without touching the side wall, so I had to scrap that idea and go with a regular macro coil.
On the plus side, it does more for flavor on a regular macro then you would expect...on par with the ceramic coil that it comes with, so I guess I can live without my claptons for this tank![]()
Awesome. I figured it was stainless but I just wanted to be sure.yes, 24 gauge SS 304 to be exact
New UD RTA with ceramic coils! This one comes with both a kanthal and a stainless steel coil as well as the RBA section. I found it here UD Simba RTA Tank - 4.5ml on pre-order.
Thanks for this thread! I thought they meant ceramic fiber wick! This is Super Interesting! I'm new to this, but I sure want to try a ceramic coil.
