Too lazy to start another thread Z but here is my 801 UFS in progress. Note the missing v2 top cap. It is a few thousandths too narrow in the opening so having to await arrival of a second (I never work on "one" of anything unless it's already broken...). Also note that a secondary upper sleeve as for use in the Ody UFS mode would add to the capacity.

The atty itself is actually a 3ml capacity attached to the UFS connector via an ultra low profile "stealth" adapter. Nothing earth shattering but just another way to enjoy my UFS. I waited, searched and stalked for far too long to let my beloved UFS go. In another thread I mentioned that I am indeed taking my #8 with me as it were and my UFS will be sitting atop it! ;)

There's loads of juice room even with an atty/carto that big. With the added capacity of it and the secondary upper extension, this would make an excellent one fill setup for an all day trip! :)

If I were you and I really wanted to pursue this project then I'd take 1 of 3 routers. Either get one of Iken's 801s that are modded with 510 connectors, which is the simplest fix. Next, you could get one of ikens shorty 801s, and stack enough top tubes to fully cover it, and just use the UFS mouthpiece. 3rd option, and the most versatile, but taxing (financially and time wise), is to mangle a delrin UFS top cap to make it serve the same function as the 510 top cap, but with the option of having the diameter be whatever you wanted it to!

Yes those are viable options for sure. But I like this specific brand and make as I have been using them for 8 months or so. I have already tested it for functionality using 2 O-rings in lieu of a modified top cap. An 11mm to make the actual seal and a 9mm on top to keep the temporary seal in place.

Function is perfect. The amount of metal to be removed from the incoming replacement top cap (Not the refilling cap) is minimal so we're talking like 10 minutes of work to make the proper cap workable. I just need to decide if I want to run it with the 2nd extension for extra capacity as it is already a tad top heavy.

+1 on the IkanVape cannon. Feed system works as designed. It's then a matter of an 810 -> 510 adapter for the top seal.

My sig line says it all, GGTS + UFS + I06, nothing better - -and that includes the Odysseus IMO........:thumb:
I know, I read your threads.

I didn't get it... But I'm not mechanically inclined. The last break down of my ody resulted in blood, and and that didn't involve a pipe cutter with a blade in it. That could result in me efficiently counting to some number less that 10.

I would love to put an iO6 in this. I have no doubts of the glorious results. Perhaps a video of the process? If I had that, I could digest, evaluate, perhaps up my insurance, and make a go.

On a side, i'll be in your area, dates TBD.. can IM on that.

Hey Rip.. in order to run the UFS with the i06 without modding, can I just purchase Wharf's io6 sleeve? And that will allow it to work in the UFS?

Yes, but only in the short version with a drip tip -- he has to offer different lengths IMO........:)

Jeez, I never knew using a pipe cutter was so difficult!!!:lol::lol: <----teasing!!! ;)

That's an option too, but you seriously overestimate my abilities! My strengths are in academia ... NOT modding or anything of that sort!

Seriously, step and recall some recent posts.

1) I have a broken metacarpal from a laptop.
2) Disassembling Ody resulted in blood.

There are reasons I gave my chainsaw to my nieghbor in exchange for him cutting up a downed dog wood. Loss of limbs was a genuine concern.

Just a video of the process... all I ask.. Otherwise, I might show up at that vape fest in a full body cast, and will be all on you. You don't want that sort of guilt, do you? ;)

Edit: I generally run short mode... is the link in your post? I'll gladly buy the solution.
